Dear participants of genesis and trusted validator competitions,

Last week (17th and 19th of April 2021), we have already sent the first batch of validation rewards on the Oraichain mainnet to all genesis and trusted validator competition participants. These rewards were calculated from the locked date of deposited tokens when each competition completed (see the below FAQ #1) until April 19. This sending of the validation rewards were a bit late since we had to wait for the native wallet registration. → See FAQ #5, if you haven’t completed the registration.

Kindly note that, we will send the validator rewards to the registered native addresses of the competition participants weekly until the locked period is over (6 months).

Here are some quick FAQs to clarify the questions we have recently received:

1. When can you receive the locked ERC20 ORAI tokens which you deposited when participating in the competition?

After 6 months from the captured* date of each competition, we will unlock the deposited tokens.

*The captured date for genesis: Feb 7, 2021
*The captured date for trusted: Feb 21, 2021

2. Where can you receive the locked ERC20 ORAI tokens after the locked period is over?

We will send back the locked tokens to the ERC20 wallet addresses which were used by the participants when they deposited.

3. What are these rewards for participants?

On Oraichain mainnet, we have delegated the same amount of every participant and collected the rewards on their behalf. Then every 7 days, we will send the rewards to the participants.

4. Where can you receive the rewards?

We send the rewards to the native addresses that you register to match with your ERC20 or BEP20 wallet addresses.

5. How to register the native wallet address?

For all of the participants who haven’t finished the registration process, please complete before May 1, 2021. If you miss this deadline, you will not be able to receive any rewards. You will receive only the deposited tokens after the locking period ends.

The Oraichain team is extremely delighted that 155 SamOrais (as of March 31st) submitted their application for the SamOrai Ambassador Program. We have noticed a great mix of early supporters to newly joined SamOrais, with various interests, backgrounds, talents and expertise.

Dear Community,

Recently, we have discovered evidence that some former Oraichain’s collaborators used internal and confidential information provided by Oraichain to trade and accumulate reward tokens in favor of their own benefit, using material and nonpublic information, which caused an adverse impact to Oraichain and our community.

Actions of such former consultants constituted a serious violation of executed agreements with Oraichain. Thus, Oraichain has decided to temporarily suspend the release of their locked reward tokens as an injunctive relief (as duly provided under the relevant agreements) in order to prevent any further damages to Oraichain and our community.

In the meantime, Oraichain will continue to investigate the case and will take all necessary actions to protect legitimate rights and benefit of Oraichain and our community.

Note that this temporary suspension affects only Oraichain’s former consultants who are under written agreements with Oraichain.
