My thoughts on the current state of things in the market, not that anyone cares but here it is if you take the time to read
October - Good month, start of AI szn, but lots of uncertainty surrounding the election still really good volume
November - Trump wins, best onchain month ever, coinbase and binance listing memes like we’ve never seen, pretty insane that we just printed infinitely for 30 days straight
November isn’t sustainable though, I think about how many good traders I saw last month take home high 6 figures - low 7 figures and these aren’t the type of people who are going to give all that back I don’t think so consider that money out of rotation that they looted from the arena
So I begin to notice a pattern that happens within onchain and I realized that onchain is very cyclical, warmup phase -> euphoric onchain conditions -> massive reset/cooldown repeat
But when you look at it on a long enough timeframe as we continue to grind up with BTC it looks like a chart to me that is constantly just making higher lows in terms of where we are at onchain
Below I’ve attached what I mean, green representing onchain euphoria, red representing cooldown and yellow starting the warmup
Currently I think we are in the cooldown phase, I think almost everyone would agree with that, but because we put in a “higher low” the cooldown phase at 100k btc is a lot better than we have seen in the past, you still have opportunity to cook on coins going 8 figure marketcaps everyday like $CHAOS on base the other day, the mindbath launch, and more. It just becomes harder to catch everything and overall you should be protecting your capital more during these times
All the money is there waiting to come back into onchain, it just needs a fire to start it, i.e the 100m runner of the month moodeng, goat, chillguy, what will the 100m runner of the month be for december ?
Another way I look at it is there's a vibe meter, when coins are up and onchain is good vibes are good and everyone will continue to print, during the inverse vibes are bad and they will sit like that until something changes the vibes
Its like the bitcoin fear and greed index but instead its the qwerty onchain vibes index, rn vibes are shot crazy because onchain sucks and everyones memes r literally in the dump
So I mean I think you’re best off playing a little tighter rn, still take advantage of what’s in front of you because there is still motion everyday just like be a little more conservative I think
So the cycle that I’m taking about comes and goes in the form of during the red phase a new idea is born, during the yellow phase you have limited time to size into this massive new idea that happens, and during green is when all of the liquidity pours over and onchain is just insane for a few weeks
Moodeng - first animal in our memecycle to go giga viral ( new idea )
Goat - first ai agent coin ( new idea )
Chillguy - first coin to break the normie barrier ( new idea )
This cycle can and will infinitely repeat, if you don’t find the monthly meta in the red zone, size in during yellow and get risk on with the market, don’t be the guy blasting euphoria
