In this case, we're working with different teams to integrate Yield Forwarding. By default, Origin’s yield-bearing tokens held in smart contracts do not rebase. With Yield Forwarding, protocols can submit proposals to the OGN DAO to direct yield from OS, OETH, Super OETH, and OUSD held in AMMs to other smart contracts. In doing so, yield earned on these tokens can be used for various purposes, offering a new source of revenue for protocols that implement Yield Forwarding. — One of the use cases can be to incentivize the pools where the LPs stopped earning a yield.

I guess this is why this design is so strange. With “standard” LSTs you never lose the yield even if you stake them or use them elsewhere, because you get the yield from the LST token value itself 🤷‍♂️

If you lock it up through LPs, you stop earning a yield with your LST, but there's a solution for some pools where we're applying Pool Booster. I'll explain this one in a bit.

It means that you earn a yield passively by holding it.
