Happy Friday! Here’s a quick recap of what happened this week at Origin:
🙂 The protocol completed its first full month of OGN buybacks, purchasing 7.46 million OGN from the market. All buybacks flow to OGN stakers, bringing max vAPY to nearly 40%.
😏 New incentives are live on the OS/wS SwapX pool. Over 15,000 S in incentives from Sonic Gems have been directed to the pool to boost LP yield for a limited time. Sonic Gems will also be used to incentivize Pendle, Silo, and Euler markets starting next week.
🎙 We joined GMSonic to talk about the launch of the ARM S Vault. The ARM S Vault earns yield by arbitraging OS pricing, optimizing yield by lending idle S on Silo. The trailing 7-day APY on the ARM S Vault currently sits at 10.89%. Listen to the recording here
👀 Origin Dollar APYs have increased ~80 bps over the last two weeks. The 14-day trailing APY on OUSD now sits above 5.2% – view more stats on our analytics page.

🙂 The OGN Buyback Blitz is underway – over 4.7 million OGN has been bought back in less than a month’s time. All bought back OGN flows to OGN stakers, with max staking APYs now above 39%.
👻 OETH has seen an uptick in usage and TVL, surpassing $150M TVL (+50% this month). Compound recently added wOETH as a collateral option, and yearn.finance added wOETH as a backing asset to yETH.
🦾 ARM ETH Vault yields have increased with recent stETH volatility. Depositors to the ARM ETH Vault have earned over 8% APY over the last 14 days from arbitraging the spread on Lido stETH.
😏 The Spectra OS market reached maturity this week. If you’re using OS on Spectra, it’s time to migrate to the new OS market. Additionally, Sonic has distributed S from season one of its airdrop campaign, and we’ll share details on additional S incentives soon.
