🙂 Nearly one million OGN was bought back this week, bringing total OGN buybacks above 27.5M OGN ($2.6M). This represents 4.2% of the circulating supply, and with all buybacks flowing to xOGN, max locked xOGN currently earns 49.9% APY. View all OGN Metrics.
👋 We launched a new Super OETH market on Morpho that currently has negative borrow rates. The market leverages Borrow Booster, a new feature we built using Yield Forwarding to direct Super OETH yield to incentivize borrow rates. Explore the market here.
😏 Sonic Development: Ceres is launching its wOS Vault today, which farms yield from the Metropolis OS/S liquidity pool. Earlier this week, Fly.trade integrated the OS ARM, enabling deeper liquidity for traders and more arbitrage opportunities for the ARM.

1. Split buybacks: 80% to stakers, 20% burn (on-chain, weekly cadence).
2. Add OGN fee utility: pay product fees in OGN for a 20–30% discount (auto-swap UX).
3. xOGN boosts: fee rebates, priority withdrawals, and higher vault boosts by lock tiers (365/730/1460d via non-transferable lock NFTs).
4. Pendle PT/YT for xOGN buyback yields to attract specialized liquidity and price the yield transparently.
5. Public buyback dashboard (next run, source, tx, burned vs. distributed).
These are simple, shippable changes that reduce float, create daily native demand for OGN, lengthen lock durations, and improve institutional credibility.

Converted OGN to xOGN but when attempting to stake the transaction does not execute. Error message: impossible to execute tx. The contract function "stake" reverted.

🙂 Origin Token: Max locked xOGN is currently earning 49.4% APY, attracting new OGN locks with 7 million OGN staked this week. Since the onset of the buyback campaign, 40 million OGN has been locked to earn rewards. 2 Million OGN was bought back this week, bringing total OGN buybacks above 24 million.
👻 Privacy Pools added a Wrapped OETH pool, allowing users to earn yield privately. The protocol obfuscates onchain data to keep your positions private, adding a layer of security for those earning yield on Origin Ether.
