Happy Friday! Here’s what happened at Origin this week, ICYMI:

👀Origin Dollar: Phase 1 of Origin Dollar’s upgrade is complete. Our custom-built Morpho Vault, built in collaboration with Yearn, is now the primary yield strategy for OUSD. As such, APYs have increased ~100 bps over the last two weeks. View our announcement here.

🚀 Curve Pool Booster: The frxUSD/OUSD Curve pool launched this week with Pool Booster enabled. In the first 24 hours, the pool has grown to $760K in TVL while offering over 34% max APY. More OUSD pairs with similar incentive structures will be launching in the coming weeks as we continue efforts to grow Origin Dollar’s TVL and onchain liquidity.

👻 Origin Ether (OETH): Cap integrated OETH to underwrite its stcUSD stablecoin on EigenLayer. Over $1.5M of OETH is now delegated as part of the integration. Origin Ether was chosen for its deep liquidity and tight onchain peg.

🙂 Origin Token (OGN): Nearly half of OGN’s circulating supply is locked as xOGN to earn staking rewards. Max locked OGN currently earns over 24% APY, funded entirely by protocol fees and DAO assets. Over 2.5 million OGN was bought back this week, bringing total buybacks to 9.96% of circulating supply.

👀 OUSD Morpho Vault: Our exclusive OUSD Morpho Vault is now earning for Origin Dollar holders. Built in collaboration with Yearn, the OUSD vault optimizes USDC between whitelisted Morpho markets to earn lending yields. The vault is currently earning 5.11% APY, increasing OUSD yield ~50 bps this week.

👻 New Pendle Markets: New Pendle markets launched for ARM-WETH-stETH and wOETH. Swap to YT to long yields, lock in fixed yields with PT, or provide liquidity to earn trading fees and incentives.

🛡️ OETH Coverage: USD8 added OETH to its Cover Pool, allowing USD8 to insure their OETH positions automatically by holding USD8. Learn more about the integration on our recent X announcement.

🦾 ARM/OETH Curve Pool: The stETH ARM now has onchain liquidity via Curve. The pool pairs ARM-WETH-stETH tokens with OETH to set the foundation for ARM integrations with money markets. The pool offers strong ETH-based yields via Pool Booster, presenting an excellent opportunity to earn more on ETH.

👀 OUSD Yield Improvements: Origin Dollar yields have increased thanks to Origin’s new custom-built Morpho Vault curated by Yearn. 7-day trailing APY is now above 4.1% and has increased ~100 bps in the last 30 days.

👀 OUSD Liquidity Campaign: Starting next week, we’ll begin bootstrapping deeper OUSD liquidity on Curve via new incentives and Pool Booster activations. Our first partner pool launches next week with Frax – stay tuned to our Discord and X as we announce further details next week.
