Over the past 24 hours, XAUUSD (Gold vs. US Dollar)
1. Escalating U.S.-China Trade Tensions
Gold prices soared to a new all-time high of $3,470 an ounce on Monday, driven by escalating tensions between the U.S. and China. President Trump’s imposition of reciprocal tariffs and China’s threats of retaliation have heightened economic uncertainty, prompting investors to seek safe-haven assets like gold.
2. Weakening U.S. Dollar
