I’ve stopped reading self help books

I’ve even stopped reading books published in the last few years

The thing about a book like the power of the subconscious mind

Their life experiences

I’m seeing people use AI to summarize books to only receive the key points

These types will never be great

They will probably never even be successful

Because they are stuck in the endless loop of summarizing books and THINKING it’s WORK.

They think they are being productive by receiving the “key insights” from books

But knowledge is not the answer

Every man is sent with the knowledge to win in this world.

There is a reason humanity has come this far

Men 100,000 years ago did not have books, did not have AI, did not even have language.

They only had the information in their GENES.

The survival instinct.

There is a reason you cannot stop breathing.

Try it.

Force yourself to not breathe (not medical advice lmao)

You WILL gasp for breath at the last instant.

It’s because it is NOT CODED in your DNA to die.

Your gene wants to survive and it wants to THRIVE. To reproduce. You have been given these instincts.

That is why knowledge is not the answer.

This is why I have stopped reading books that make me knowledgeable.

This is why I will never summarize a book. Or anything.

Because sure, I know the insights but now what? I still haven’t moved the needle of my life or trained my subconscious.

The key edge is in training your INSTINCT.

And a great way to train it is by reading biographies.

Physical books ONLY.

To read the life story of great men who have walked their earth.

The beauty of biographies is,

It is just stories about real people who had real problems and who surpassed them to become great.

And the TIPS AND TECHNIQUES AND LESSONS are hidden in between the lines. Inside the stories.

And you will never have to ask yourself what they are.

Every traumatic event in my life made me who I am.

I would argue that they were the best things that ever happened to me.
