1/ The Fed has dropped reputational risk from its bank rules, making it easier for banks to work with crypto companies. Despite this change, the Federal Reserve Board said it still expects banks to maintain strong risk management practices that comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
2/ Ripple Labs was denied a joint motion filed with the SEC requesting an indicative ruling to expedite resolution in their long-running legal battle. The court ruled that Ripple and the SEC cannot use their settlement agreement to overturn the permanent injunction on the company s institutional XRP sales.
3/ The FHFA orders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with over US$7T in assets, to recognize crypto assets in mortgage applications. The proposed shift comes amid broader calls from Pulte who is also chairman of the board for both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to modernize housing infrastructure.

Highlights :
1/ Robinhood has launched 200 tokenized U.S.-listed equities for European markets, enabling trading 24 hours a day, five days a week, using a price-tracking derivative contract. However, users can only buy or sell tokens on the platform and cannot transfer them externally; ownership of the underlying stock remains with Robinhood rather than with the users.
2/ Solana s first U.S. spot staking ETF, the REX-Osprey Solana + Staking ETF, launched with US$33M in trading volume on its first day. While awaiting SEC approval, the ETF has been registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, ensuring strict investor protections. Consequently, the fund must hold assets with a qualified custodian. The founders selected Anchorage Digital, the only federally regulated crypto bank authorized for both custody and staking of digital assets.
3/ The SEC put on hold its approval for Grayscale s mixed crypto fund to convert into an ETF, just one day after granting it, citing the need for further review of its multi-asset structure. The conversion, if eventually successful, could pave the way for broader approval of other crypto fund proposals. The fund is currently traded over-the-counter by accredited investors and is primarily composed of BTC (~80% of the portfolio), followed by ETH (~11%) and smaller allocations to SOL, ADA, and XRP.
