We’d like to thank you for your continued patience and support after identifying some bugs during the early stages of the Metropolis launch on EarlyPool.
We have been all hands on deck working tirelessly to squish the bugs identified and we are delighted to share the news that all the issues have been resolved! 🎇
Our CTO has provided some insights as to the causes:
We had two issues occur during this IDO.
The first issue was due to a performance update around caching data. The issue is the cache boundaries were not tested thoroughly enough, which resulted in users briefly seeing the previous users info. We quickly identified the issue and rolled back within minutes of the IDO kicking off. There was no data breach issue.
To highlight, our system utilizes Merkle Proofs for security verification around KYC limits. A change in the cap allocation from the last IDO was made. When we deployed, the website and contracts were no longer in sync around KYC verification. This resulted in anyone who was KYC’ed to be blocked from joining the pools. We sincerely apologize for this.

How to Participate In EarlyPool for Metropolis 🤔
Let's start with the basics!
📌 Key Points:
🟣 EarlyPool is for those staking at least 75,000 $PAID tokens, which will turn them to $sPAID.
🟣 EarlyPool opens 24 hours before OpenPool.
🟣 Participation fuel for both Pools are 15%.
🟣 Guaranteed allocation in EarlyPool is $431 per 75k $sPAID ($5000 max cap).
🟣 KYC is required for both Pools for purchases above $1000, to be completed at least 24 hours prior to the respective pools opening.
Step-by-Step Guide 👟
1️⃣ Sign in to your Ignition account, ensure you have completed your KYC (for purchases above $1000), and connect your wallet to the Polygon network.
2️⃣ Navigate to the Metropolis EarlyPool and click the "Join Pool" button.
3️⃣ Enter the amount of USDC you would like to contribute, taking the 15% participation fuel into account (this will be added to your total contribution amount).
4️⃣ Agree to the rules and click the 'Join Pool' button.
5️⃣ Confirm the transaction. Due to network congestion, your transaction may take some time. Consider speeding up your transaction or try again later, but within 24 hours of the Pool opening.
6️⃣ Once the transaction is confirmed, you will see your total contribution amount and the number of tokens purchased.
If you wish to participate in OpenPool as well, you can do so on a first-come, first-served basis. EarlyPool closes 24 hours after opening, and any remaining balance is automatically added to the OpenPool.
After the crowdfunding concludes and Metropolis completes their Token Generation Event (TGE), navigate to the Vesting Portal for information about your purchased tokens.
