🚨 The treacherous Palestinian Authority decided to cut the salaries of prisoners and freed prisoners based on "security reasons". It is worth noting that many current and former prisoners have spent years in the occupation prisons and are suffering from serious health conditions that require constant medical treatment.
Previously, PA President Mahmoud Abbas issued a decree canceling the stipends to families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded. This came only a few weeks after the PA Security Forces' military campaign in the northern West Bank against the resistance, tied to $680 million of aid from the United States in exchange for fighting the resistance in Jenin.
Below are the reactions to this act of treachery, including from the fired former head of the Palestinian Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Commission, Qadura Fares.
Qadura Fares:
"The non-payment of salaries to 1,612 prisoners is a violation of the Palestinian people’s legacy of struggle, and a breach of the traditions, customs, and systems that the national movement has upheld for over 60 years.
This direction is inconsistent with the Palestinian people’s path of resistance, which is based on a commitment to the families of prisoners, the wounded, and the martyrs.
For the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded to live in poverty is a disgrace to all Palestinians.
Responsibility falls on the Palestinian factions, organized groups, and the families of martyrs and prisoners to act and push to stop and cancel this decision."
Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa Barghouti:
“The prisoners are among those who have sacrificed the most, alongside the martyrs. Their rights must be preserved in a way that upholds their dignity and protects their families. We call for the disbursement of prisoners’ allowances in full, to everyone, without discrimination.”
🔴 Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine:
"Cutting prisoners’ salaries based on security recommendations is a national crime and a stab in the back of the Palestinian struggle. We condemn this dangerous decision taken by the Palestinian Authority through the “Tamkeen” Foundation.
This decision represents a blatant submission to "israeli" and American conditions and dictates.
We affirm that turning the prisoners’ cause into a humanitarian or social aid file—measured by calorie intake as indicated in humiliating application forms—is a direct insult to the sacrifices of the prisoners. These forms reveal a mindset that turns its back on the prisoners and aligns with security coordination agreements, far removed from any national or revolutionary affiliation.
We hold the Palestinian Authority and the “Tamkeen” Foundation fully responsible for this humiliating and unjust policy against the prisoners and their families. We call for its immediate reversal and demand the payment of salaries to released prisoners without any conditions or restrictions, as this is a legitimate right that must not be subject to blackmail or political or security classification.
We call on our people and all active forces to raise their voices loudly in rejection of this dangerous approach, and to reaffirm the status of the prisoners as a symbol of resilience and resistance—not as a social burden to be discarded.
Glory to the prisoners and the released, shame and disgrace to those who undermine their dignity and rights, and victory to our people and their valiant resistance."

In a historic deal, Hamas agreed to release the zionist American captive and IOF soldier Edan Alexander, in unprecedented direct communications with the United States and with zero input from "israel."
The US is asking the zionist government to stop military activity, including drone flights, to secure Alexander's release, which is expected to take place on Tuesday.
Zionist media has not neglected to take notice of their absence from the agreement or the negotiations preceding it.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Within the framework of the efforts exerted by our brother mediators to achieve a ceasefire, Hamas has conducted communications with the U.S. administration over the past few days. The movement has shown a high level of positivity, and the "israeli" soldier with dual American citizenship, Edan Alexander, will be released as part of the steps taken towards a ceasefire, open crossings, and allow aid and relief to reach our people in the Gaza Strip.
The Hamas movement affirms its readiness to immediately begin intensive negotiations and make serious efforts to reach a final agreement to end the war, exchange prisoners as mutually agreed upon, and manage the Gaza Strip by an independent, professional body, ensuring sustained calm and stability for many years, alongside reconstruction and ending the siege.
The Hamas movement appreciates the diligent efforts exerted by our brother mediators in the sister countries of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as our brothers in Turkey throughout the past phase.

🚨🟢 BREAKING - A Hamas leader told Al-Jazeera:
Advanced direct negotiations are underway between the Hamas movement and the U.S. administration regarding a ceasefire in Gaza. Negotiations have been ongoing for days, discussing the delivery of aid and a ceasefire.
The Palestinian resistance will not release any more prisoners held in Gaza unless America forces "israel" to cease fire. The resistance will not release the zionist captives unless the aggression stops, a complete withdrawal, the war ends. The resistance prefers to implement an all-for-all prisoner exchange deal but is also open to a phased implementation formula for a comprehensive and clear agreement.Читать полностью…
Disarming the resistance means starting the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, and this will not happen. Disarmament is the biggest problem facing the occupation, and it is completely rejected by the resistance and the Palestinian people. If the resistance ends and arms are surrendered, forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza will be the next step.
The crimes in Gaza and the West Bank may seem like tactical victories in Netanyahu’s project, but behind them lie fires that have not yet ignited.
The occupation deliberately burdens the mediators from Egypt and Qatar with a series of exorbitant demands as a condition for stopping the war. Among "israel's" demands are disarming the resistance and expelling its leaders from the Strip, demands that the occupation knows in advance the resistance will reject.
The occupation is trying through negotiations to recover its captives without ending the war, and this will not happen. It is as if "israel" says, “We have sentenced Gaza and the resistance to death and only want to retrieve its captives to carry out this sentence.”
Netanyahu’s statements about eliminating Hamas and the resistance’s surrender are pure fantasy.
The resistance is deeply rooted in the consciousness of the Palestinian people, and a day may come when "israel" longs for Hamas.
The accumulated anger among the people in Gaza, West Bank, and the diaspora is immense and may erupt at any moment.
Today marks three years since the martyrdom of Shireen Abu Akleh. A generation of Palestinians was raised on her voice.
Shireen, who was a journalist with Al-Jazeera was covering a brutal IOF raid on the city of Jenin, dressed in “PRESS” armor, and wearing a helmet, when she was deliberately shot in the only uncovered area in her head, by a zionist sniper. Successive gunfire from IOF troops prevented medics from reaching her in the crucial moments after she was shot.
The zionists who feared Shireen’s voice when she was alive, feared her martyrdom’s coffin even more. Storming the funeral fully aware of every possible news outlet camera in the whole wide world, they clubbed the Palestinians who held her coffin and causing it to be dropped, acting with full impunity as they know for a fact, no one in the “international community” will take action. They never have, and they never will. Only the resistance stands up for its people. Today's genocide war bears witness.
What happened with Shireen happens every day in Palestine. In fact, what most people may not know, Shireen was not the only martyr on May 11th 2022. 18-year-old Tha'er Al-Yazuri was shot and martyred the same day. Another female journalist, Ghufran Warasneh, was martyred a few weeks later. Shireen’s case isn’t the exception for a Palestinian in Palestine; it is the norm. This time, Shireen happened to be a very well known Palestinian. A world-renowned journalist. A woman. A Christian. A “US citizen.” Her martyrdom happened to have been filmed, and to stir the people of the world’s curiosity for news outlets to care and conduct investigations and to prove that it was indeed, deliberate.
But none of the details matter. What matters is that she was a Palestinian and that she was shot by her occupier.
Shireen was the very proof that no matter who you are or who you’re affiliated with, the zionist occupation can and will kill you for being Palestinian. It is an extension of the Nakba. The Nakba goes on.
Three years have passed since Shireen's martyrdom. 146 journalists have been murdered by the occupation in Gaza and South Lebanon since October 7th. Many were deliberately targeted, their homes demolished, their families killed, in a collective "punishment" for conveying the truth about Palestine.
When journalist Mohammad Abu Hatab was martyred in November, his colleague Salman Abu Bashir said: "These are simply symbolic items we wear. They don't protect any journalist. None of this does. We are simply victims live on air, sacrificing our souls one after the other. We go as martyrs only. It is only a matter of time."
Every day, new stories emerge. Wael Al-Dahdouh lost members of his family after the occupation targeted them twice, including his son Hamza. Samer Abu Daqqah bled until martyrdom on the floor of a UN school for displaced people. Jabr Abu Hadrous ascended with his family. Just today, Anas Al-Sharif and his colleagues were targeted live on air while he was reporting, and last week, journalist Hassan Aslih's family home was destroyed. The stories are endless, many of which we may never hear about or tell.
However, never did these journalists stop exposing the truth and telling stories. Despite attempts of repression and silencing, the journalists continue to risk their lives and fighting on their own front for the land by raising its voice, no matter the sacrifices.
As Shireen's colleagues stated when mourning Jabr Abu Hadrous in December: "This [press] vest now represents the stone that will be the stumbling block in the face of the occupation, which cannot conceal the reality of what is happening in the Gaza Strip or its crimes."
The resistance avenges our martyrs. The people rally behind their resistance to declare, "No to silencing our voices!" From Naji Al-Ali to Yasser Murtaja to Shireen Abu Akleh, to all journalists in Gaza. The march continues. In the words of Shireen, "This needs patience. Keep your morale high."
Glory to our martyrs, and glory to those who raise the voice of the resistance.

The British Labour Government is Misleading Public Opinion and Continues to Arm the Occupation – Europe is Complicit in Bombing Civilians in Gaza
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that the British Labour government, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary David Lammy, is directly complicit in the genocide being carried out by the occupation in the Gaza Strip, through its continued export of weapons and military equipment up to March 2025—despite publicly announcing a partial suspension.
International human rights reports, supported by official documents, expose the falsehood of the government’s claims and prove it has continued to export ammunition and weapons, with over 8,630 shipments sent since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.
This behavior constitutes a systematic deception of British public opinion and Parliament, making the British government a direct partner in the war crimes and genocide committed against the Palestinian people.
The secret meeting between the British foreign minister and his counterpart in the occupation government—revealed by Middle East Eye—is part of the collusion and cover-up of British involvement in these crimes and reflects the extent of the Labour government’s lack of transparency and political deceit.
In this context, the Popular Front praises the courageous stance of forty Members of the British Parliament who demanded that Foreign Secretary David Lammy respond to the continued arms exports, exposed the government’s deception, and called for a serious investigation into the continued issuance of licenses, and the halting of all forms of military support to the occupation state.
Europe—with its governments and arms companies—is an active partner in the war crimes and genocide committed against our people in Gaza, especially after the shocking statement by former EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, who admitted that half of the bombs dropped by "israel" on Gaza come from European countries.
The Popular Front holds European governments—foremost among them the British government and EU leaders—legally and morally responsible for their direct support of the aggression. It calls on the peoples of Europe, as well as their political, union, and student movements, to rise up to stop the war and hold those responsible for exporting tools of death to the occupation accountable.
It also calls for massive marches of anger and pressure in European capitals, in defense of the blood of Gaza’s children, to denounce government complicity with the occupation, and to demand an immediate and total halt to all arms exports to the genocidal entity.

Abu Al-Hummos: “The voices of tens of thousands today are a powerful call to end the genocide against Palestinians.”
Madrid – May 9, 2025
During his participation in a massive solidarity march in the Spanish capital, Head of the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Raed Abu Al-Hummos, expressed deep appreciation for the overwhelming turnout of Spanish citizens, Palestinians, Arabs, and international supporters who took to the streets in protest of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and the broader Palestinian people.
Abu Al-Hummos, currently visiting Spain with an official delegation from the Commission, described the demonstration as an inspiring and unifying scene that brought together people of diverse backgrounds, all demanding justice and an end to the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation. Banners and chants throughout the march reaffirmed the Palestinian right to freedom and independence, while condemning the Israeli leadership for its brutal actions.
“What we witnessed today in Madrid is a testament to the power of global conscience,” he said. “We hope to see similar mobilizations across European capitals, as such grassroots pressure is essential to compel governments to take meaningful action in the face of ongoing atrocities.”
He further commended the Palestinian community in Spain and the organizers for their role in making the event a success. He also thanked the Spanish government and people for their principled stance, noting that Spain’s recognition of the State of Palestine is a vital step that bolsters the Palestinian people’s pursuit of justice, statehood, and freedom.
Abu Al-Hummos emphasized that the plight of Palestinian detainees was a prominent theme throughout the march, resonating strongly with participants. He called for strengthened coordination between institutions working on detainee issues, Palestinian embassies, and diaspora communities, stressing the importance of clear and unified strategies to advance the national cause on the international stage.

The Al-Qassam Brigades have just released the zionist soldier holding American citizenship, “Edan Alexander,” following communications with the U.S. administration, as part of the ongoing efforts by mediators to establish a ceasefire, open the crossings, and deliver aid and relief to our people in the Gaza Strip.
This step comes after important discussions in which Hamas demonstrated a high degree of positivity and flexibility.
We affirm that serious and responsible negotiations will achieve results in releasing prisoners. Continuing the aggression, however, will prolong their suffering and may even kill them.
We affirm the movement’s readiness to immediately begin negotiations aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement for a sustainable ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army, the lifting of the blockade, a prisoner exchange, and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
We urge the Trump administration to continue its efforts to end this brutal war waged by war criminal Netanyahu against children, women, and defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Banan was arrested just days ago as she traveled for her mother's medical care, as she was her major support. Asmaa is herself a liberated prisoner who was denied the ability to travel outside Palestine for medical care on multiple occasions.

At exactly 12:45 a.m. yesterday, Saturday, we carried out a complex and qualitative operation targeting a group of officers and soldiers east of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in Gaza City. The operation began by luring enemy forces by targeting an armored vehicle with an anti-tank missile, resulting in injuries among its crew of officers and soldiers.
Minutes later, the zionist enemy targeted a specific area at the scene of the operation with rockets and missiles. A rescue force from the “Al-Quds Brigade” [of the IOF] Reserve Brigade arrived to aid the targeted force, which was also ambushed by a pre-positioned "Thaqib" explosive device, killing and wounding several "israeli" soldiers.
Our fighters engaged and confronted the support forces inside the operation zone using medium and light weapons. During the withdrawal of the fighters, a number of them were martyred.
This operation stems from our belief in the necessity of fighting the zionist enemy as long as its aggression continues. It is also dedicated to the spirit of the great martyr commander Nour Abdel-Karim Al-Bitawi, one of the prominent military leaders of Saraya Al-Quds in the West Bank.

Through the biased policies used against countries in the world today, there is an attempt to make people forget the issues related to Palestine. Islamic countries must not allow this. They must not let them divert people’s attention from the Palestinian cause by spreading various rumors, raising new and unrelated issues, and using meaningless language. They are trying to distract minds from the Palestinian cause.
The crime being committed by the zionist entity in Gaza, in Palestine, is not something that can be ignored. The entire world must stand against it. The world must take a stand against the zionist entity itself and also against its supporters.
The Americans are practically supporting the zionist entity. Now, in the world of politics, statements may be made that suggest otherwise, but this is not the reality. The truth is that the oppressed people of Palestine, the oppressed people of Gaza, are facing not only the zionist entity but also the United States and Britain.
I believe that, by the help, glory, and might of God, Palestine will be victorious over the zionist occupiers. This will surely happen. Falsehood may have its moment and appear for a few days, but it will inevitably vanish — there is no doubt about that.
What we are seeing now — what they are doing and advancing in Syria and elsewhere — is not a sign of strength, but rather a sign of weakness. And it will lead to further weakness, God willing.
