Four months of aggression on Jenin and its camp: Over 22,000 displaced and nearly 600 homes completely destroyed
The "israeli" occupation forces continue their assault on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the 119th consecutive day, expanding bulldozing and destruction operations within the camp with the goal of altering its features and structure, while maintaining a complete blockade that prevents entry or access.
The occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city, arresting a young man after raiding his home amid drone surveillance. Troops were deployed near the Khalid bin Al-Walid Mosque and the Al-Saadi clan hall, while military vehicles spread throughout the city’s streets and marketplaces.
In conjunction, occupation soldiers raided a house in the Jabriyat neighborhood near Jenin Camp, and opened heavy live fire inside the camp after forcing residents to evacuate.
Villages across Jenin governorate are subjected to near-daily raids as the aggression on the city and camp continues. Today, the occupation stormed the town of Ya’bad, south of the city, deploying infantry units throughout its streets.
The occupation forces maintain a total closure of Jenin Camp, preventing access, while bulldozing and destruction operations inside it continue with the aim of reshaping its infrastructure and character.
Nearly 600 homes have been completely demolished in the camp, while the remaining homes have been partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable.
The city of Jenin is witnessing massive destruction to homes, public facilities, and infrastructure—particularly in the eastern neighborhood and the Al-Hadaf area.
Hundreds of families from the camp, the city, and surrounding areas have been forcibly displaced, with the number of displaced persons now exceeding 22,000.
Since the start of the assault on the city and the camp on January 21, 2025, 43 Palestinians have been martyred—including two shot dead by Palestinian Authority security forces—in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests.

On May 17, 2025, fighters of the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces were able to target a zionist infantry force through direct clashes with machine guns and by detonating a high-powered explosive device in the Al-Atatara area, northwest Gaza, which led to the injury of a number of enemy soldiers and the martyrdom of the fighter comrade/ambush commander, Zakaria Rami Abu Odeh (23 years old), whose body the members of the fighting group were able to retrieve amidst heavy shelling.

Intense IOF operations centered on Khan Younis overnight and throughout the day, including a special forces assassination and a strike on Nasser Hospital and a shelter school. The IOF also carried out a massacre at the Al-Hassayna School in the central Strip, resulting in 8 martyrs. Another massacre resulted in the martyrdom of a mother and 6 of her daughters, followed by another massacre that resulted in the martyrdom of another mother and her 4 children.
Evacuation orders were also issued for large parts of Khan Younis. At the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, power was cut off after the IOF targeted its generators.

The Prisoners’ Media Office warns of the grave deterioration in the health condition of the leader and prisoner, Muammar Shahrour, as a result of repeated assassination attempts against him inside "israeli" prisons, as part of a systematic policy targeting leaders of the prisoners’ movement.
Leader Muammar Shahrour is a Palestinian prisoner from the city of Tulkarem. He was arrested in 2002 and is serving a sentence of 29 life terms plus 20 years, accused of planning the “Park Hotel” operation. He holds a master’s degree in Education and Islamic Civilization.
According to information received from inside the prison, Shahrour is subjected to brutal beatings eight times daily, and police dogs storm his cell three times a day, mauling his body until he bleeds. This continuous torture has caused him to suffer from severe kidney pain and toe deformities due to rheumatism, while being denied both adequate medical treatment and the necessary nutrition for his condition—posing a serious threat to his life.
What is being perpetrated against leader Shahrour and other leaders of the prisoners’ movement is a direct implementation of incitements by extremist "israeli" officials, foremost among them Ben-Gvir, who openly call for the killing and torture of prisoners until death.
We affirm that the ongoing international silence and delay in action to lift the suffering of the prisoners, especially the leaders among them, will inevitably lead to an increase in the number of martyrs of the prisoners’ movement.
We call on international institutions, foremost among them the International Committee of the Red Cross and human rights organizations, to immediately and urgently intervene to stop these violations, save the life of prisoner Muammar Shahrour, and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes.
We also urge our people in the West Bank and Al-Quds to escalate and intensify their support activities and solidarity with the prisoners, in honor of their sacrifices and to pressure for their protection and to expose the crimes committed against them.

Following the execution of the father, Ahmad Sarhan, this morning in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza by the occupation’s special forces, the occupation has abducted his wife and their 12-year-old son, Mohammad Sarhan, and transferred them to an unknown location.
For the first time in 80 days, aid has entered the Gaza Strip. However, only 30 trucks have entered today, and no more than 30 trucks daily are expected to enter for the next week.
After 80 days, the zionist cabinet decided to allow aid in not as a humanitarian measure, but as a military one - just enough to prevent famine, in their eyes, with the added bonus of circumventing international pressure. The Gaza Strip requires 500-600 trucks of aid entering per day at a bare minimum, and those were the pre-war requirements. What entered today amounts to one truck per 75,000 people, and thousands of trucks remain stuck at the border.
Today, not only is starvation used as a weapon by the zionist enemy, but the entry of lifesaving aid, flour, and gas too has turned into a weapon, too. 57 martyrs (mostly children) have ascended from this weapon of starvation so far.
Next week, the IOF will establish "aid distribution centers" in the southern Gaza Strip, where the IOF itself will oversee the distribution of aid within the Gaza Strip. The temporary crumbs of aid that will flow in for the next week are a stopgap for this larger plan, which comes as part of the "Gideon's Chariots" operation.

After returning from the frontlines, Al-Qassam fighters confirmed they carried out a complex ambush in the Atatara area west of Beit Lahia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Our fighters targeted three zionist military vehicles with two Shuath explosive devices and a Tandem shell, then engaged another zionist force with light weapons and hand grenades, killing and wounding its members. Our fighters observed the landing of a helicopter for evacuation.
This took place on Friday, 16 May 2025.

Hussein Odeh—Palestine's bodybuilding champion, whose strength could not save what mattered most.
On Saturday, Hussein left his home in Jabalia to find a car to evacuate his children, whom he had dressed up in preparation for their journey to safety. As his children patiently waited for their father's return, the IOF bombed their home. Hussein returned, not to his waiting children, but to a mountain of concrete and his children trapped underneath—silent, without any goodbye.
Hussein, accustomed to lifting the heaviest weights, was helpless from the weight no human should have to bear, struggling to lift the rubble of what was once his home atop his children's crushed bodies.
Hussein's losses are innumerable, evident in his voice as he recounts the bombing. His father invested his life savings into Hussein's sports club. In a single day at the start of the war, both the gym and his daughter Iman were obliterated by American-made zionist bombs. At that time, his little son Khaled promised his father, with childlike optimism, to rebuild the gym, the house, and everything his father had lost, as if reconstructing shattered lives were as simple as stacking blocks.
Iman has ascended, and her brothers Khaled, Yousef, and Mohammed join her today. Hussein's gym is no more, and his home is gone. Everything that Hussein built and everyone he has nurtured, erased in moments.
