Today marks the 25th anniversary of the liberation of 144 prisoners from the colonial Khiam prison camp and torture center just days before the zionist occupation was driven out of southern Lebanon.
The prison was run by colonists and their allies since its inception. In the 1930s, it held rebels against the French occupation, and in 1985, invading zionists and the SLA turned it into a brutal torture facility.
In October 1991, 210 detainees were known to be held in Khiam, of whom 20 were non-Lebanese. This group included 13 Palestinians, four Syrians, two Kurds, and one Algerian. Among the detainees, there were 16 women (15 Lebanese and one Palestinian). Reports indicate that detainees ranged from minors to individuals in their sixties and older.
One of the youngest detainees, Rabah Shahrur, was around 12 years old when he was captured, held in Khiam for eight months to pressure his detained older brother into confessing. Another child, Ahmad Nimr Munther from Markaba, was 14 when he was taken prisoner in 1989. It was common to torture the relatives of the prisoners, their parents, and loved ones to force them to "confess" that they were resisting occupation.
Over the years, over 5,000 people, including 500 women like revolutionary Lebanese resister Suha Bechara (media 4, part 1), would be imprisoned and tortured at Khiam by electrocution, beating, waterboarding, and other brutal methods.
11 martyrs (media 2, part 2) ascended inside the prison due to torture, medical negligence, or suffocation by gas. The Khiam prison remained a testament to the struggle of a people until the 2006 war. The IOF, in an attempt to erase their crimes, bombarded the torture center, reducing it to ruins (media 3,4 part 2). Despite all their attempts, the electrical pole where they tortured the prisoners and two of them were martyred, as well as a cell used for torture, remained (media 5,6,7 part 2). The memories of the freed resisters, children of the land, remained. The voice of Rani Bazzi, who screamed on May 23, 2000, when he was liberated and continued to resist until he was martyred in 2006, in the same war where the enemy attempted to erase his past, still lingers on top of the rubble (media 8, part 2). We bear witness.
Every victory that is not documented may be lost. The scenes of liberation at Khiam prison not only document the victory but also make us feel as if we are living it, moment by moment, breaking into the torture prison where the occupiers fled, to free our prisoners (media 1, part 2). It makes us long for this moment in Palestine.
Two years ago, RNN wrote: "Khiam reminds us that #FreeThemAll is not a lofty dream or an empty promise to be replaced with compromise. The freedom of all prisoners—from the colonial prisons of the zionist entity, the dungeons of the comprador Authority, and the prisons of Europe, America, and the Arab world—is a reality that will be enforced through armed resistance and popular revolt."
On October 7th, the resistance enforced that reality through armed resistance, backed by the popular cradle, with their first demand being our prisoners, reiterating: "If the prisoner is lost, the nation is lost." 210 prisoners have been freed in the November exchange batches. We await the moment where all of our prisoners shall be free.
Khiam teaches us that the liberation of our prisoners is inevitable. It is a promise, because our people and their resistance pledged to keep it. As the liberation of the prisoners in southern Lebanon on the 23rd of May 2000 announced the liberation of the land two days later, today we affirm that the freedom of our prisoners has begun, announcing: the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea, has begun.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Almighty said:
"O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet."
This is the truth of Allah, the Almighty.
In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance fighters, and in rejection of the genocide being perpetrated by the zionist enemy against our brothers in the Gaza Strip:
The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces has carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport—referred to by the zionists as "Ben Gurion" Airport—in the occupied city of Yafa, using a hypersonic ballistic missile. By the grace of Allah, the operation successfully achieved its objective, causing millions of the usurping zionist settlers to flee into shelters and halting airport operations.
Remaining silent in the face of the daily massacres in Gaza will bring disgrace and shame upon this Ummah and will render it more vulnerable to its enemies than ever before—unless it rises to fulfill its religious, moral, and humanitarian duties toward the oppressed Palestinian people.
Our operations will continue and escalate, God willing and relying upon Him, until the aggression on Gaza is halted and the siege is lifted.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs; the best protector and the best helper.
Long live Yemen, free, proud, and independent.
Victory to Yemen and to all the free people of the nation.

Ships from an Islamic state and an Arab state still supply the zionists with food and goods via the Mediterranean—condemned as shameful collaboration.
Some European governments speak more sharply yet still arm "israel". We demand a full arms embargo, decisive sanctions, and an economic cutoff. Morocco’s joint air drills with "israel" are branded a betrayal of the Ummah.
The U.S. inflates the killing of two "israeli-embassy" staff in Washington, while refusing to label the slaughter of 186,000 Gazans terrorism, wielding "antisemitism" to silence protests.
The Ummah’s silence emboldens the enemy; neglect of duty toward Palestine brings grave consequences before God. Awakening, educating, and mobilizing the Ummah through media, religious discourse, and cultural work is declared one of the most important forms of jihad.
1,121 marches were held across Yemen last week; more than 1.9 million public activities have taken place in nineteen months. We call for an even larger rally tomorrow in Sanaʿan and all provinces—thanking God for America’s failure, defying "israel", and backing Gaza and Yemeni strikes.
Enemy escalation demands greater escalation in duty and support. Weariness, apathy, and delay have no place while Gaza bleeds; scenes from Gaza are more powerful than any words and should awaken every conscience.
Our stance—born of faith, morals, and honor—will never weaken or retreat.
We remain ready for continued jihad until justice and liberation are achieved.

🚨 Settlers are launching a violent attack on the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit, opening fire on the residents, and setting fire to homes, cars, and properties.
Confrontations have broken out in attempt to repel the aggression.
This comes after a nine-day aggression on Bruqin by occupation forces which included a military raid on the town and nearby Kafr al-Dik, the imposition of a round-the-clock curfew on 12,000 residents, systematic home raids and theft, field interrogations, and the martyrdom of Nael Samara (36) while in custody.
The occupation also seized 245 dunums of land, turned 15 homes into military outposts, and blocked access to vital supplies like medicine, bread, and milk.

Says strikes open a front that disrupts zionist and US plans, and exposes the occupation’s security failure.
Urges Arab states to break silence, cut normalization, and form a united military front to stop the genocide and crush the zionist entity.
⚪️ Mujahideen Movement:
Hails Yemen’s double strike on "Ben Gurion," Yafa, and Haifa, saying it terrified settler herds.
Affirms Yemen’s firm stance and commitment to backing Gaza and imposing an air and sea blockade.
Calls on the ummah to rise up, break silence, and follow Yemen’s example in defending Palestine.
🚨 BREAKING: 30 martyrs, mostly children and women, ascended in a new massacre carried out by US-funded IOF warplanes against the Dardouna family in Jabalia, northern #Gaza Strip.
The IOF bombed the entire 4-story building. Due to the lack of Civil Defense equipment, residents are working with their hands to assess the damage and recover wounded.

The ongoing "israeli" aggression on Tulkarem enters its 116th day: Military escalation and arrests
"Israeli" occupation forces continue their aggression on the city of Tulkarem and its camp for the 116th consecutive day, and on Nour Shams camp for the 103rd day, amid ongoing military escalation and arrests.
The occupation forces have re-arrested former prisoners released in the recent exchange deal: Musab Yousef Barbarah "Al-Naji" and Mahmoud Zuhdi Jitawi, both from the town of Bal’a, east of Tulkarem. They also arrested two young men, Yazan Omar Qazmar and Mohammad Hassan Khalaf, from the city.
Occupation forces set up a flying checkpoint around the Jabara Bridge Gate at the southern entrance of Tulkarem, stopping vehicles, searching several of them, checking passengers’ IDs, and arresting one youth.
A suffocating and comprehensive siege is being imposed by the occupation on Tulkarem and Nour Shams camps, accompanied by the sounds of gunfire, explosions, escalating field operations, and continuous military reinforcements.
Yesterday, "israeli" soldiers carried out an explosion in the Al-Balawneh neighborhood of Tulkarem camp, though details remain unknown due to the severe siege and the prevention of residents from entering.
The occupation continues to prevent displaced residents from returning to their homes, from which they were forcibly evicted. Over 4,200 families—comprising more than 25,000 citizens—have been forcibly displaced from both camps.
Occupation bulldozers have completely destroyed more than 400 homes, partially damaged another 2,573, and sealed off entrances and alleyways with earth mounds, turning the camps into isolated zones.
The camps’ neighborhoods are witnessing a heavy deployment of occupation forces, who have turned several homes into military barracks and sniper posts, amid heavy gunfire and the targeting of anyone attempting to enter the camps or approach their homes.
In recent weeks, the occupation has launched a demolition campaign in the main neighborhoods of Nour Shams camp, targeting over 20 residential buildings, including apartments, and damaging adjacent buildings. This is part of the occupation’s plan to demolish 106 buildings in Tulkarem and Nour Shams camps to open roads and alter their geographic features.
The ongoing "israeli" aggression and escalation in the city of Tulkarm and its camps have resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant—along with dozens of injuries and arrests. It has also caused widespread destruction to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles, which have been completely or partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen.

Elsewhere a man of conscience once attempted to throw Robert McNamara off a Martha's Vineyard-bound ferry into the sea, incensed at the same impunity and arrogance he saw in that butcher of Vietnam as he sat in the ferry's lounge laughing with friends. The man took issue with McNamara's "very posture, telling you, 'My history is fine, and I can be slumped over a bar like this with my good friend Ralph here and you'll have to lump it.'" The man did not succeed in heaving McNamara off a catwalk into the water, the former secretary of state managed to cling to the railing and clamber back to his feet, but the assailant explicated the value of the attempt by saying "Well, I got him outside, just the two of us, and suddenly his history wasn't so fine, was it?"
A word about the morality of armed demonstration. Those of us against the genocide take satisfaction in arguing that the perpetrators and abettors have forfeited their humanity. I sympathize with this viewpoint and understand its value in soothing the psyche which cannot bear to accept the atrocities it witnesses, even mediated through the screen. But inhumanity has long since shown itself to be shockingly common, mundane, prosaically human. A perpetrator may then be a loving parent, a filial child, a generous and charitable friend, an amiable stranger, capable of moral strength at times when it suits him and sometimes even when it does not, and yet be a monster all the same. Humanity doesn't exempt one from accountability. The action would have been morally justified taken 11 years ago during Protective Edge, around the time I personally became acutely aware of our brutal conduct in Palestine. But I think to most Americans such an action would have been illegible, would seem insane. I am glad that today at least there are many Americans for which the action will be highly legible and, in some funny way, the only sane thing to do.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The "israeli" occupation army expands bulldozing and destruction operations in the city of Jenin and its camp as the aggression enters its 123rd consecutive day
As the broad aggression of the occupation against the city of Jenin and its camp reaches its 123rd consecutive day, the "israeli" occupation army is intensifying systematic bulldozing and destruction aimed at erasing Palestinian landmarks, while tightening the siege and preventing Jenin’s residents from reaching their homes.
Occupation forces continue carrying out raids in Jenin and its surroundings, subjecting citizens to abuse and mass arrests, while continually bringing in additional military reinforcements.
In a flagrant escalation, occupation soldiers directly targeted 25 Arab and European ambassadors and diplomats during their visit to Jenin Camp—an act that epitomizes the occupation’s arrogance and its wholesale violation of all international norms and conventions.
Estimates indicate the occupation has carved out roughly 15 roads inside Jenin Camp—which covers less than half a square kilometre—while completely destroying its infrastructure and heavily damaging much of the city’s. Basic services have ground to a halt as a result of the aggression.
"Israeli" occupation soldiers deliberately fire live ammunition heavily inside the now-empty camp, and infantry units are deployed at the camp’s entrance, known as Horse Roundabout.
Initial assessments show the aggression has led to the complete demolition of 600 homes in the camp, with the remaining houses partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable. The city itself has suffered extensive destruction to buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
Since the assault began on 21 January, about 22,000 residents have been forcibly displaced after being driven from their homes by occupation forces. In addition, 43 citizens have been martyred—including two shot by Palestinian Authority security agents—and dozens more have been wounded or arrested.

This week has been bloody and bleak, marked by horrific zionist crimes and massacres.
During this week, more than 3 000 Palestinians were martyred or wounded in the Gaza Strip—most of them women and children. It is the largest weekly toll in roughly half a year; many martyrs are still under the rubble or lying in the streets.
"Israeli" bombing struck dozens of homes, tents, shelter centers, schools, hospitals, ambulance crews, and medical teams, wiping out entire families and systematically blocking rescue.
"Israel" continues mass displacement from northern Gaza, raining incendiary bombs on fleeing civilians and causing immense suffering for the elderly and children.
Gaza faces massive famine and catastrophic thirst: most families eat only once every 36–48 hours; two million people are deliberately denied food and water, and tens of thousands of children risk death from hunger. Whenever Gaza’s health sector rebuilds minimal capacity, it is bombed again.
Former prime minister Ehud Olmert: "This is a war without a goal; what "israel" is doing in Gaza amounts to a war crime."
Yair Golan: "Killing Gaza’s children is a horrifying criminal hobby."
Yoav Gallant: "After 591 days of war, Hamas still rules Gaza—a total failure for "israel.""
Many "israeli" soldiers are now psychological casualties; an officer said they fear screening troops for mental disorders lest the army be left without soldiers.
In occupied Al-Quds and the West Bank, assaults continue: bulldozing, destruction, kidnappings, attacks on women; in Jenin more than 22 000 are displaced and hundreds of homes have been leveled.
Fighters of Al-Qassam Brigades and Saraya Al-Quds executed joint ambushes in Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Khuzaa, detonating barrel-bomb minefields under armor and preventing permanent enemy deployment. When fighters emerge from tunnels or rubble, enemy troops flee.
On the Yemeni support front, eight hypersonic and ballistic missiles and drones were launched this week—three at Lod Airport. Sirens sounded across most occupied towns, millions of zionists hid in shelters, and many airlines extended flight suspensions.
"Israeli" retaliation—22 raids on Hodeidah ports—failed to deter Yemen; port workers held their posts. We hail their steadfastness as jihad in God’s path.
The American carrier USS Harry S. Truman departed after losing three F-18 fighters; the enemy is unable to deter or influence the Yemeni stance.

The Occupation Continues Engineering Starvation in Gaza... Current Aid is but a Drop in the Ocean of Humanitarian Needs
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms that the zionist occupation continues to commit the crime of systematic starvation against more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. This is achieved by rationing the entry of humanitarian aid and subjecting it to security and political equations, as part of what has become known as "starvation engineering," and by imposing facts on the ground through a "ghetto aid" plan that attempts to portray this crime as a humanitarian solution.
The aid that has been allowed to enter after 81 days of complete closure represents merely a fraction of the natural needs of the Gaza Strip, which, prior to the war, required approximately 500 trucks daily to meet the minimum requirements for life. Today, the quantities permitted to enter are less than a tenth of this figure, amidst a growing number of displaced persons, the collapse of the healthcare system, and the widespread escalation of hunger and malnutrition, particularly among children.
We also warn against the occupation's attempts to implement its plan to establish what resembles concentration camps in the southern areas of the Strip under the guise of aid. This is a rejected colonial scheme that will not succeed and will be met with the unwavering will of our people, who reject humiliation and submission, and who cling to their right to life, freedom, and dignity.
We reiterate our demand to the international community and humanitarian organizations to exert urgent pressure to completely lift the siege, reject the engineering of hunger and humiliation, and establish a free and permanent humanitarian corridor that ensures the unimpeded flow of aid to meet the actual needs of our people, free from control or blackmail.
The Israeli occupation has committed a massacre against the "Dardouna" family in Jabalia al-Jurn.
Rescue and recovery operations are still ongoing at this time.

Urging everyone to avoid speculation about "false flags" whenever an incident occurs that people find inconvenient for media. People are watching a genocide being committed in their name and with their $ for 20+ months & basic actions of "legal" protest are being criminalized.
It should surprise literally no one at all that people will act when there is no accountability whatsoever imposed upon that genocidal regime, and instead it is showered with even more weaponry to use on Palestinians. 2 Palestinians being martyred gets almost 0 attention.
Whether it's graffiti that people find "hard to justify" or "not the right slogan," or property damage that people think "undermines our media work," or even speeches that make people uncomfy, the inevitable parade of fedjacketing & "false flag" statements on social media begin.
Genocide has to have consequences, and if there are no consequences imposed, and if having a protest gets you in jail, and speaking for the prisoners gets you labeled a terrorist, it's only logical that people will find alternative means of imposing consequences.
The criminalization is ALREADY happening. The silencing is ALREADY happening. It's not starting now. So the challenge for all of us is to fight back and to end the genocide, and to impose meaningful consequences on the enemy with our movement. And yes, to globalize the intifada.

Explication
May 20, 2025
Halintar is a word that means something like thunder or lightning. In the wake of an act people look for a text to fix its meaning, so here's an attempt. The atrocities committed by Israelis against Palestine defy description and defy quantification. Instead of reading descriptions mostly we watch them unfold on video, sometimes live. After a few months of rapidly mounting death tolls Israel had obliterated the capacity to even continue counting the dead, which has served its genocide well. At time of writing the Gaza health ministry records 53,000 killed by traumatic force, at least ten thousand lie under rubble, and who knows how many thousands more dead of preventable disease, hunger, with tens of thousands now at risk of imminent famine due to Israeli blockade, all enabled by Western and Arab government complicity. The Gaza information office includes the ten thousand under the rubble with the dead in their own count. In news reports there have been those "ten thousand" under the rubble for months now, despite the continual making of more rubble and repeated bombing of rubble again and again and the bombing of tents amid the rubble. Like the Yemen death toll which had been frozen at some few thousand for years under Saudi-UK-US bombardment before being belatedly revealed to stand at 500k dead, all of these figures are almost surely a criminal undercount. I have no trouble believing the estimates that put the toll at 100,000 or more. More have been murdered since March of this year than in "Protective Edge" and "Cast Lead" put together. What more at this point can one say about the proportion of mangled and burned and exploded human beings whom were children. We who let this happen will never deserve the Palestinians' forgiveness. They've let us know as much.
An armed action is not necessarily a military action. It usually is not. Usually it is theater and spectacle, a quality it shares with many unarmed actions. Nonviolent protest in the opening weeks of the genocide seemed to signal some sort of turning point. Never before had so many tens of thousands joined the Palestinians in the streets across the West. Never before had so many American politicians been forced to concede that, rhetorically at least, the Palestinians were human beings, too. But thus far the rhetoric has not amounted to much. The Israelis themselves boast about their own shock at the free hand the Americans have given them to exterminate the Palestinians. Public opinion has shifted against the genocidal apartheid state, and the American government has simply shrugged, they'll do without public opinion then, criminalize it where they can, suffocate it with bland reassurances that they're doing all they can to restrain Israel where it cannot criminalize protest outright. Aaron Bushnell and others sacrificed themselves in the hopes of stopping the massacre and the state works to make us feel their sacrifice was made in vain, that there is no hope in escalating for Gaza and no point in bringing the war home. We can't let them succeed. Their sacrifices were not made in vain.
The impunity that representatives of our government feel at abetting this slaughter should be revealed as an illusion, then. The impunity we see is the worst for those of us in immediate proximity to the genocidaires. A surgeon who treated victims of the Mayan genocide by the Guatemalan state recounts an instance in which he was operating on a patient who'd been critically injured during a massacre when, suddenly, armed gunmen entered the room and shot the patient to death on his operating table, laughing as they killed him. The physician said the worst part was seeing the killers, well known to him, openly swagger down local streets in the years after.
