In response to the biased statements made by the U.S. National Security Advisor, which equate the oppressor with the victim and fully adopt the narrative of the occupation, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms the following:
Talking about "israel's right to defend itself" is a blatant distortion of reality. An occupier has no right to defend its occupation; rather, it is inherently the aggressor.
The ongoing zionist aggression against our people, spanning decades, and the genocidal crimes in Gaza are what require condemnation and accountability, not justification and support.
The claim that "Hamas chose war instead of releasing hostages" distorts the facts. The Palestinian resistance clearly proposed initiatives for a ceasefire and a comprehensive prisoner exchange deal. However, it was the occupation, led by Netanyahu, that rejected these initiatives and intentionally sabotaged them to serve its political interests, a fact acknowledged by the leaders of its own security services.
The notion of extending the ceasefire if the resistance released all captives deliberately ignores the reality that the occupation was never serious about implementing the terms of the truce, failed to comply with any of its conditions, and continued its policies of killing, starvation, and siege. This undermined the understandings and destroyed any opportunity for an extension.
The American statements once again expose the complete partnership in aggression against our people and complicity with the occupation in committing crimes of genocide, starvation, and siege against over two million Palestinians in Gaza, including thousands of innocent children, women, and civilians.
We affirm that the Palestinian resistance is exercising its legitimate right to defend its people, land, and sacred sites against occupation and aggression. Attempts to distort reality will neither absolve the occupation of its crimes nor grant Washington moral cover for its biased policies.
Attempts to distort reality will fail, and history will record those who stood with justice and those who colluded with murder.

Medical Crimes Against Female Prisoners: Continuous Suffering and Deprivation of Treatment
A female prisoner, (R.A.), is three months pregnant in the occupation prisons.
Medical crimes against Palestinian prisoners—both men and women—have been an ongoing human rights violation for decades. Many female prisoners are denied essential medical care despite suffering from chronic illnesses or injuries sustained during their arrests. They are often deprived of necessary medication, and treatment is frequently delayed, leading to serious health complications.
Among the detained mothers is at least one pregnant woman, who is in her third month of pregnancy and is the mother of two daughters. She suffers from dire health conditions due to deliberate medical neglect. Like other detainees, she is denied the medical attention she urgently needs, including necessary check-ups and proper nutrition for both her and her unborn child. This negligence is a blatant violation of the rights of pregnant women in prison and exacerbates their psychological and physical suffering.
“Mothers of Prisoners: Constant Worry and Complete Isolation”
It is not only the prisoners who suffer isolation and deprivation—their mothers and families outside the prisons endure ongoing distress. Thousands of Palestinian mothers live in daily anxiety over the fate of their detained children, unable to check on them or hear their voices. Today, all Palestinian prisoners, without exception, are completely cut off from their families due to the occupation’s repressive measures, which include banning visits and severing all means of communication.
Among the imprisoned mothers are:
• Haneen Jaber from Tulkarem, a mother of two martyrs.
• (F.A.) from Qalqilya, who is suffering from cancer.
• Iman and Afnan Zahour from Al-Khalil, two sisters who are both imprisoned mothers.
• Dalal Halabi and her daughter Islam from Nablus, a mother and daughter detained together.
• Aya Al-Khatib, who has been imprisoned since before October 7.
The Arrest of Women in Gaza After the Genocide: Ongoing Suffering and Harrowing Stories
Following the genocide and the ground invasion of Gaza, many Palestinian women were arrested under inhumane conditions. The exact number remains unknown, as the occupation authorities have systematically targeted women, particularly mothers, as part of a broader policy of collective punishment. The detainees include women from various age groups—mothers, students, activists, and even minors. Due to the lack of official statistics, enforced disappearances have become a prevailing reality.
Among the most harrowing cases is that of an elderly prisoner from Gaza, who remains imprisoned despite her advanced age. She was arrested alongside her two daughters, one of whom spent a prolonged period in detention before being released, while the mother remains behind bars. She endures immense suffering due to old age and health complications exacerbated by medical neglect.
Occupation Arrests Birzeit University Graduate Shahd Hassan!
Shad Hassan, a 23-year-old graduate from the Arabic Language Department at Birzeit University, was arrested on the night of 5th of March, after the occupation raided her family home in Ein Misbah neighborhood of Ramallah, occupied West Bank.
While Shahd was asleep, they raided their home and, upon her arrest, they did not allow her to get dressed, so she was forced to put on her prayer clothing.
On the 12th of March, Shald was transferred to a 4-month
Administrative Detention.
Shahd comes from a family which has a long history of struggling. Her father, Sheikh Majed Hassan, a former leader of the Islamic Bloc at Birzeit University, her mother, the preacher Nada Al-Jayousi, her brother, Abdul Majeed Hassan, and her older sister, Shaza Majed Hassan, the head of the Birzeit University Student Council, were all arrested by the occupation.
Her brother, Saleh Hassan, former head of the Birzeit University student Council, is incarcerated since February 22, 2024. On February 19, 2025, occupation renewed his administrative detention order for a further 4 months.
This was Shald's first Ramadan alone after all of her sisters got married. On the first day of Ramadan, she took care of her newborn nieces. While arresting her, the occupation forbade Shahd to talk to her family. Despite this, Shald told her family, "I'm fine, don't worry" and left her home in high spirits, according to her mother.

Hollywood, backed by the United States, has always tried to craft the image of the invincible "superhero” through characters like Superman, Batman, and Captain America—figures meant to embody absolute power, protecting the world and saving the innocent.
In these films, the hero appears masked, possessing superhuman abilities, fighting “evil” in the name of justice. But what Hollywood never tells us is that this “hero” is part of a propaganda machine designed to promote America’s image as a force of absolute good, even as it arms and supports the occupation in killing innocent people.
In contrast, through the lens of reality, “Abu Hamza,” the spokesperson for Saraya Al-Quds, or the martyr Naji Abu Seif, emerged. After the mask was lifted, he appeared as a genuine Palestinian fighter, without cinematic effects or as a super-powered being, but with a determination stronger than fiction.
When the mask came off after his martyrdom, it did not reveal the face of a mythical hero manufactured in film studios. Instead, it was the face of a simple young man who lived among his people, fought for them, and was martyred carrying the cause of his homeland.
Similarly, Abu Obeida, spokesperson for Al-Qassam—and in fact all factions— appeared masked in such a way that, according to polls, their appearance carried a strength, anticipation, and breath-holding power greater than field operations. Indeed, a word from the masked man [Al-Mulatham] proved stronger than rockets.
For years, Western media has portrayed the Palestinian fighter as nothing more than a “terrorist” or an “outlaw,” while depicting the American or “israeli” soldier as a hero fighting for “freedom.” Yet the Palestinian has proven himself to be the rightful owner of the land and the true narrative. In contrast, their so-called heroes—products of paper and drama—have been exposed as cowards, oppressors, and enablers of crimes against humanity.
The reality was different when Abu Hamza’s face was revealed; it did not match the stereotypical image that had been imprinted in people’s minds. He was an ordinary young man with calm features—someone who could have been someone you know: a neighbor, a friend, a brother. But he chose the path of resistance, becoming the voice of the voiceless.
How many people imagined that behind the mask was a massive warrior with fierce features and a piercing gaze, as American action films portray their heroes? How many viewers assumed that a Palestinian fighter must be an emotionless beast? But when his face was unveiled, we saw eyes carrying the story of a captive defying his jailer, a heart beating with humanity for his people and comrades, and a gentle smile reminding the world that true heroes do not need superpowers to be immortalized in history.

The majority of the martyrs arriving at the hospitals in the Gaza Strip suffer from 100% burns and amputations across their entire bodies.
There are large numbers of dismembered bodies and severe burns, which are the predominant characteristics of the injuries.

The Shin Bet chief's statements reveal the criminal Netanyahu's deliberate manipulation of the negotiations, his efforts to thwart any agreement and then obstruct it once reached, for his own political purposes.
These confessions from within the occupation leadership confirm that Netanyahu was and remains the real obstacle to any exchange deal.
Netanyahu's attempts to exclude influential security figures from the negotiations reflect his internal crisis and the deepening crisis of trust between him and his security establishment. They also reveal his lack of seriousness in reaching a real agreement.
The Shin Bet chief's statements confirmed that Netanyahu sought to engineer formal negotiations used to stall and buy time, without achieving tangible results.

On the Eve of Mother’s Day
On Mother’s Day, the occupation authorities continue to deny 14 Palestinian mothers their freedom and the right to hold their children. Currently, 25 Palestinian female prisoners remain in occupation prisons under extremely harsh and deteriorating conditions. The imprisonment of these mothers has left dozens of children deprived of their maternal care.
The past months have been among the bloodiest and most brutal periods for Palestinian women, with systematic violations escalating, especially amid the ongoing brutal aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people. Palestinian women, particularly female prisoners, endure relentless oppression and abuse, facing severe violations of their fundamental human rights daily without any accountability.
Since the beginning of the genocide, the occupation authorities have carried out mass arrest campaigns targeting tens of thousands of Palestinians, including women and mothers. Notably, the highest recorded number of female detainees was documented after the genocide against the Palestinian people, with approximately 500 Palestinian women arrested. Among them are mothers and women who were taken as hostages to pressure a family member into surrendering.
The Tragedy of the Palestinian Mother: Arrest, Isolation, and Endless Suffering
The tragedy of Palestinian mothers begins the moment occupation forces storm their homes—often in the dead of night—violently tearing them away from their children at gunpoint amid the terrified cries of their little ones. The suffering does not stop at arrest; it continues through harsh transportation and interrogation procedures, where they are subjected to humiliation and psychological and physical torture.
Since the start of the genocide, female prisoners have been completely denied family visits. The occupation authorities have cut them off from the outside world, preventing the International Committee of the Red Cross from conducting visits and severely restricting access to lawyers.
The Suffering of Female Prisoners in Interrogation and Detention Centers
After their arrest, Palestinian women are transferred to occupation interrogation centers, where they are subjected to severe interrogation tactics. They are forced to stand for long hours in inhumane conditions, deprived of sleep and food, and endure continuous threats of violence to extract confessions or information. Many are denied the right to speak with their lawyers, exacerbating their suffering and leaving long-term physical and psychological scars.
Damon Prison: Brutality and Inhumane Conditions
The majority of Palestinian female prisoners are held in Damon Prison, one of the main detention centers for Palestinian women. The conditions in this prison have worsened significantly since October 7, especially in the weeks that followed. Female prisoners have faced continuous assaults, including solitary confinement, abuse by special repression units, confiscation of all personal belongings, and deprivation of their most basic rights, including communication with their families and children.
As part of these ongoing violations, the prison administration has implemented a starvation policy, preventing prisoners from purchasing food through the prison canteen and providing them with insufficient and low-quality meals. In addition, medical neglect has become systematic, leaving many prisoners suffering without treatment. Overcrowding has also intensified, forcing many detainees to sleep on the floor amid severe shortages of clothing and blankets—an issue that worsened with the cold weather, as some women were forced to wear the same clothes they were arrested in for extended periods.

The occupation continues its aggression against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the 59th consecutive day, carrying out home demolitions, burning houses, and converting others into military outposts.
Over the past hours, occupation forces deployed tanks and additional machinery and bulldozers to accelerate the demolitions.
Yesterday, occupation forces issued demolition orders for approximately 66 homes in the neighborhoods of Al-Hawashin, Al-Ulub, Azzam Mosque, Joura Al-Dhahab, and Al-Samran, under the pretext of expanding roads and opening new routes in the camp to facilitate the entry of military vehicles.
Last night, occupation forces set fire to several homes near the Saadi Diwan inside the camp and continue to block the road leading to Jenin Governmental Hospital from the camp’s entrance with dirt barriers.
Occupation bulldozers have destroyed 100% of the streets in Jenin refugee camp and nearly 80% of the streets in Jenin city, while residents of 3,200 homes have been displaced. The city’s economy has suffered significantly, with poverty rates rising among its residents.
During the aggression on Jenin, the occupation forced the evacuation of 3,200 homes in the camp, with the number of displaced people reaching 21,000.
The occupation’s assault on Jenin and its refugee camp has resulted in the martyrdom of 36 civilians, including two killed by the Palestinian Authority’s security forces, which collaborate in the occupation’s crimes by pursuing and arresting resistance fighters.
More than 227 have been arrested and detained by the occupation since the beginning of the assault on Jenin and its camp, while dozens have been subjected to field interrogations, beatings, and abuse.
🚨 Journalist Hussam Al-Titi, who works for the American ABC news, ascended to martyrdom along with his wife and daughter in an IOF airstrike on their home in Gaza City. Hussam is one of over 210 journalists who have ascended to martyrdom since October 7th, 2023 due to the zionist aggression.
Hussam was also a UNRWA teacher, one of 5 teachers who were martyred in the last few days.

Since dawn on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, until now, the "israeli" occupation army has committed dozens of massacres across different areas of the Gaza Strip through intense airstrikes targeting civilian homes directly and without prior warning. Statistics indicate that over 70% of the martyrs during this period are children, women, and the elderly, confirming that the occupation continues to deliberately target civilians as part of a systematic genocide.
This brutal aggression reflects the occupation’s deliberate intention to complete its genocide against our people in Gaza, amid American support and disgraceful international silence.
We condemn in the strongest terms the occupation’s ongoing massacres against unarmed civilians and call on the world's nations and human rights organizations to denounce these crimes and take immediate action to stop them. We also call on free people around the world to take to the streets in mass protests against this brutal aggression.

In solidarity and support for the oppressed Palestinian people, and in response to the massacres committed by the criminal zionist enemy against our brothers in Gaza, the missile forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a qualitative military operation targeting a military objective of the "israeli" enemy located south of occupied Yaffa. The attack was executed using a hypersonic ballistic missile of type Palestine-2, successfully achieving its objective, by the grace of Allah.
This operation is the second within 24 hours.
