1. Why allocate 45% to CAKE holders?
This allocation rewards CAKE holders for their loyalty and support. It incentivizes continued engagement and investment in PancakeSwap. Additionally, many CAKE stakers are also active LayerZero (L0) users. Between Dec '22 and Feb '23, PancakeSwap contributed 1-5% of daily LZ messages and up to 30% on high-volume days, showing our significant role in LayerZero's growth.
2. Can you justify how the proposal prioritizes L0 users?
The 'Protocol RFP' proposal is the first step in the TGE distribution process. It allows each project to establish its own allocation standards. Projects with OApp, OFT, or ONFT contracts on the mainnet before Snapshot #1 are eligible to submit proposals, with over 200 submissions so far. We believe LayerZero users are also PancakeSwap users, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship.
3. Why allocate 3% to people who used the bridge?
Allocating 3% to bridge users acknowledges their essential role in facilitating cross-chain transactions and ensuring interoperability within the ecosystem.
4. Has PancakeSwap been partnering with LayerZero for bridging?
Yes, PancakeSwap has been partnering with LayerZero for bridging since 2022. This partnership enables CAKE token bridging through PancakeBridge, using LayerZero's OFT technology to ensure seamless transactions.
5. How does PancakeSwap help the development of LayerZero?
PancakeSwap showcases multichain capability improvements through LayerZero, demonstrating the versatility of our CAKE token as an Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT). This enhances LayerZero's ecosystem with increased utility.
6. Will CAKE holders on exchanges receive the airdrop?
CAKE holders on exchanges will receive the airdrop if the exchanges participate in the distribution. We are coordinating with exchanges to ensure eligible holders benefit.

After approval, the airdrop will be distributed based on the proposal’s implementation plan. This typically involves snapshots and direct distribution to eligible holders.
8. How much does PancakeSwap contribute to the ecosystem with this partnership?
Since partnering with LayerZero, PancakeSwap has facilitated over 264,000 transactions, allowing users to move CAKE across deployed blockchains. We've collaborated with multiple OFT protocols, including STG, USDV, CANTO, and PEPE, building robust multi-chain liquidity and broadening platform access.
9. How important is the incentive of PancakeSwap operators and traders for LayerZero?
