Astar Network. Tokenomics 2.0 is a dramatic change of course. Inflation decreases by 2 times to 5,8%,, new metrics and rewards for network participants, developers and collators are introduced.
The Astar team just presented its vision of Astar Tokenomics 2.0 with dynamically adjusted inflation.
Here are the main theses and changes in the tokenomics of the Astar Network:
1) Token burning mechanisms appear (unused in dAppStaking and part of the transaction fees).
2) A multi-level system( Tirer 1-4 ) of rewards for dApps developers.
3) Inflation is reduced. The inflation rate becomes dynamic and is set at about 5.8% instead of the old value of 9.5%
4) Collators (producers of blocks in Astar) - reduce the reward for Collators.
5) Participants of the Build2Earn program (dAppStaking) - and these are Astar decentralized application developers who get into the reward program for their applications deployed on Astar - receive a higher percentage of awards than before. And they can get Tier from 1 to 4, depends of success of their apps metrics.
6) TVL begins to be counted as a key metric. The ideal TVL of the network is set to 50%, the value of TVL affects the actual inflation of the token. Read more in the article.
