Yes, it tends to fall completely in any trouble. Any bit flip, some fsync misues, and so on. It is good sometime (often).
It is awful when there is some random user's desktop without any administration.
So, generally, sqlite, interbase, mysql, ms sql server express — would be better for such "internal" or "in-program" database cases.
Yelp switched from PostgreSQL to MySQL.
While I understand the rationale why they did that, it's surprising to see how many workarounds they had to implement in order to catch up with features which are native in PG.

Your installation of that Perl module is raising an error. I think you should install ora2pg using operating system packages

Hello I have situation where i have 2 databases in the cluster and one database is with collation ‘en_US.UTF-8’
And another one in ‘c’ collation with same data. INSERT query running fine with database having collation ‘en_US.UTF-8’ but giving OMM error when it executes on the database which is having ‘c’ collation
