Keri and I have been absolutely FLOORED with how amazing Italy is. Not just the history, but the incredible food, the fresh ingredients, and honestly, the cheerful and incredibly always-happy italians.
Look at the black/white map above.
What do those black lines resemble?
Because to me, they resemble roots of a tree.
And look where the roots lead to.
Italy.

Could Italy, as a whole and encompassing the Mediterranean Sea, been one of our biblical giant trees?
The root map suggests so.
The fertility of the soil suggest so.
The GIANT produce and fruit (lemons are the size of your head here, same with oranges) suggest so.
The incredible personalities of the people who live here suggest so.
Is this why the Romans called Italy home? They knew?
This place is special. I can't put my finger on it, but something is way, WAY different about Italy.
This would have been the LARGEST of all trees, and it would have been blown to smithereens from the inside out. Not chopped down, like the other "smaller" giant trees.
