I learnt to focus on my craft, people here are arguing based on YouTube videos they watched that were done based on PHP 5 standards and below , most of these 'PHP and it's security issues' gang do not even know those security vulnerabilities themselves .
You're campaigning it because someone else said on YouTube or some Quora article yet you haven't faced/experienced it yourself.

We're in PHP 8 today folks . You'll campaign against it to your best but there are people who are actually programming in it , doing big secure projects and making their money .

Php is good & PHP is great, but PHP is old & widespread, and people have a natural inclination to love things that seem unique, complex, new and shiny, half of the jobs clients give you to do in MERN can be simply done in PHP, but they don't want that, coz PHP has got a bad rep and all, and that's what's important to them nowadays, as a developer I use to argue with clients that you just gimme what you need, I will accomplish it, dw about what I use but you learn people now just want a soldier follow what ur told and u get the money, act smart, and suggest better ideas and ur out most don't like thinkers they are competition
