There are financial and medical reports that we export as pdf. Based on our clients, transaction report can have at the very least 90pages.

There are clever ways to force dompf to generate those reports but its like fighting fire.

Any pdf writer should be able to append images to pdf docs. Just save the signatures as images.

Rrunning headless chrome for pds has its disadvantages too but they are not extreme as dompdf or tcpdf

Generating pdf has its quacks and it depends on your project reqs.

Dompdf will do well in few page generation but breaks down when you start generating 20+ pages

I use project gotenberg. Tried dompdf, tcpdf and snappy but left them.

I also used browserless which is similar to gotenberg
