You're the one assuming you can do it. You need experience to properly do it, not taking stakeholders through textbook examples of stakeholder engagements.
This is where you show what you're bringing to the table and not what you're taking from it.
Why are people assuming if you go from school to a workplace you are incapable to do a client meeting or do an SRS?

JS kwanza is so bad.. overdependence of packages even to do menial things
Sticking to conventions on how logic flows helps out a lot when picking up a project. This one for instance adds two new things, the modules dir at the root and the exa dir

The only way you can be a senior dev straight from Uni/College is in your own company. And even then, it will be a disservice to your company.
Being a senior dev is not just writing code. There's policy formulation, client meetings/requirements gathering etc.
You can't climb a tree from the top
No dispute about this, but industry experience ni muhimu for successful senior role.

I don't believe in one being a senior dev straight from school. I see it as a lie perpetuated by our industry. Let's be real, there is more to writing code overnight; meetings, sow, brp, lld docs, client trainings etc

Humans can never have a one size fits all. That would be killing creativity and improvements.
some devs love convention over configuration, then there is this guy plus the 72 stars.

That's where the logic will live. There is also another package in use to handle validations.

I think it will be helpful if you point out some specifics with the code as not everyone will know what you are referring to without examples

I've noticed that there is a growing number of developers who prefer writing code away from agreed conventions. It's not fair to the human mind, the cognitive load when joining a team or inheriting a project makes it all not worth it. I saw this repo and my heart bled a little inside
