Hello guys am having apps in different versions of PHP and my laptop cannot handle docker so I always switch between versions so Today morning I found something strange my terminal shows a different version with the browser and am unable to find the solution like php -v returns 7.4 and phpinfo() on browser returns php8.2

When I use sudo update--alternative --config PHP it only switches the terminal version

Also sudo a2dismod php8.2 returns module 8.2 does not exist

Ubuntu is based on Debian. So is mint and a few others.

Sometimes you'll find some specific packages only for Ubuntu, which won't work in reverse ( applying them on Debian)

Good to know this works.

I have a web design project lined up but i am too busy to work it myself. I still have to supervise the work and make sure it is done. I need a Laravel guy who can make this happen we work together and share the spoils 50 50. I am thinking of going with Tailwind, Laravel and maybe a basic CMS backend implementation. Please send your number, email and links to your recent projects. I will not entertain entry level devs. You must have good experience writing php code and deploying to unix servers. So skills like nginx, mysql, bash, rest apis e.t.c will be highly appreciated. I will reach out in person if i like your profiles. Projected revenue for the whole work is 250k. Client still has to agree, but its not an issue
