Raytheon has been fined $200 million for exporting defense technology to China, Russia, Iran, and Lebanon, the State Department announced.
According to a press release, the settlement involved 750 violations of the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
The settlement covers “unauthorized exports of defense articles, including classified ones; unauthorized exports of defense articles by employees in carry-on baggage to prohibited destinations.” These destinations include China, Russia, Iran, and Lebanon.
The indictment details violations committed by the company between August 2017 and September 2023. The company’s employees are alleged to have visited the above-mentioned countries with classified technical data on multiple Pentagon aircraft and weapons programs, including the F-22 fighter jet and the E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft.

Fucking Houthis continue to hit civilian ships. This one was towed to the port of UAE after the attack in the Red Sea. There is no sign that Houthis are stopping their attacks. Looks like more measures should be taken to counter react to this threat. Unfortunately at least 2 sailors of the ferry lost their lives.

Stoltenberg called the operation of the Armed Forces in Kurshchyna legal.
Ukraine's operation in the Kursk region is legal and falls under the right of self-defense, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with Welt.
He also emphasized that he did not know about Kyiv's plans in advance and did not participate in them.

❗️Ukraine will not join the EU until it settles the historical problematic issues regarding the Volyn massacre with Poland, - Prime Minister Tusk.
The statement of Polish Prime Minister comes after the scandal caused by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba who called the part of the Polish territory a Ukrainian one during the meeting with his Polish colleague 🤦♂️.
I deeply regret the events of „Volyn massacre“ it is probably the darkest part of Ukrainian history. Ukraine should definitely settle that issue and condemn the tragedy caused.
But Kuleba didn’t want to do it and made the situation even worse… I don’t think that the current Ukrainian foreign minister is a competent person if he screwed up his job.
My Polish friends, many thanks for your awesome support of Ukraine regardless of politics and government officials. In most cases they don’t represent the real people‘s opinion.
