The main tank manufacturer for the Russian army, "Uralvagonzavod," has announced a large-scale staff reduction.
A document dated October 7 states that by February 2026, the enterprise plans to cut about 10% of its personnel.
However, factory workers fear that many more people could be affected by the cuts:
"According to our data, in most departments the reduction amounts to up to 50% of the staff. As a result, able-bodied, highly qualified specialists are losing their jobs."
Actually I like that. It means Russia is losing its influence in Central Asia

The company Gunvor, founded by billionaire Timchenko, close to Putin, refused to purchase Lukoil's foreign assets after the US Department of the Treasury called it a "puppet of the Kremlin."
"President Trump clearly stated that the war must stop immediately. As long as Putin continues senseless killings, the Kremlin puppet Gunvor will never receive a license to operate and make a profit," said the US Treasury.
Gunvor responded that this statement is "fundamentally incorrect and false," but at the same time announced the cancellation of the deal to purchase the foreign assets of the Russian oil company.
No surprise. But how the hell they got the access to those secrets first of all?

Of course Mario is biased and he has let’s say his specific views. I am biased too. But at least he published an interview fully without any cuts. Nice 👍

Lavrov has reportedly fallen out of favor after failing to arrange a Putin-Trump summit, according to The Moscow Times. He was notably absent from yesterday’s Security Council meeting, the only permanent member to miss it, and has also lost his role as head of Russia’s G20 delegation.
Russian foreign minister has earlier cynically claimed Russia is not violating Budapest Memorandum.
