The US is preparing a record-breaking defense budget for 2027 — up to $1.5 trillion
The bulk of the spending will amount to around $1.15 trillion, with an additional $350 billion planned to be added through a separate procedure.
Around $760 billion will be allocated for arms purchases and $220 billion for research and development. The funds will go towards replenishing reserves and containing China.
The priorities include the missile defense system, the navy, and F-35 fighter jets.

Axios confirms that Iran shot down an American fighter jet
The publication clarifies that it is most likely an F-15, not an F-35, as previously reported by Iranian media.
It is noted that this is the first case since the beginning of the war when an American aircraft was shot down by enemy fire.
The Pentagon does not give official confirmation of the loss of the fighter jet.
USA refuel plane and helicopters spotted flying over Iran. Looks like Iran air defence suppressed in this region. But hell they are risking a lot!!! Small MANPADS may shot them down easily…

Another aircraft, a Su-30 fighter jet, has crashed in Crimea.
According to official data, the aircraft "suffered an accident while carrying out a scheduled training flight." The crew ejected and survived.
This is the third aircraft lost in four days following the crashes of the Su-34 and An-26 on Tuesday. During the An-26 , including Lieutenant General Alexander Otroshenko, commander of the mixed aviation corps, as well as 6 officers of the Northern Fleet staff.
The wreckage of the vertical stabilizer and other parts of the fighter jet F-15E Strike Eagle from the 494th Fighter Squadron of the US Air Force, demonstrated by Iran.
It seems that this is the first confirmed combat loss of a manned US Air Force aircraft in the air over Iran since the beginning of the war.
Iranian sources claim that the pilots were killed, but there are no images of the bodies or prisoners of war.
