Israel hid information about Iran hitting five military targets, — The Daily Telegraph
The targets included a major air base, an intelligence center and a logistics base, the newspaper writes, citing satellite radar data provided by scientists from the University of Oregon. In total, Iran struck more than 40 Israeli infrastructure targets during the 12-day conflict.
The Israel Defense Forces did not comment on the damage to the targets for the publication. “We can only say that all relevant units remained functional throughout the operation,” an IDF spokesman said.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Israeli and US air defense systems intercepted about 84% of the missiles.
OPEC+ countries will increase oil production in August even more than expected, according to Bloomberg.
Eight key member countries of the alliance have agreed to boost production by 548,000 barrels per day. Over the past three months, the group has been increasing production by 411,000 barrels each month, and traders were expecting the same level of growth in August.
“Since OPEC+ has shifted from a price protection strategy to maintaining market share, keeping the nominal voluntary production cuts no longer makes sense. It may be more appropriate to finish the process faster and move on,” said Harry Tchilinguirian, head of the analysis division at Onyx Capital Group.

General Staff: Borisoglebsk airfield hit.

Germany is preparing to introduce a voluntary six-month military service scheme to boost its reserve forces and strengthen national defence.
The plan, driven by growing concerns over Russia, aims to attract recruits for basic roles like guard duties, with the option of a draft if too few volunteer.
Defence Minister Boris Pistorius hopes to grow the armed forces from 180,000 to 260,000 troops and double the current 100,000 reservists.
Pistorius wants to have the legislation passed by the end of next month, with the first recruits to start training from May 2026.
