I am writing to report a serious violation of privacy and Telegram’s policies. An anonymous user sent an explicit image of my friend without consent on Telegram. The sender has no visible name, no username, and their profile picture is just a smiley face.
Details of the Incident:
• Date & Time of Incident: 02/04/2025 at 12:21 PM
• Profile Information: No name, no username, profile picture is a smiley face
This incident is highly concerning, and I suspect it could be someone I know using a hidden identity. I kindly request Telegram’s assistance in:
1. Investigating this account to determine if it violates Telegram’s policies.
2. Providing any possible account details (if permissible) to help identify the sender.
3. Taking action to prevent further misuse of the platform for such activities.

If your number is banned, you can do the following:
1. In the message about blocking tap on the "Help" button.
2. Select one of the email clients installed on your phone.
3. Send an email, the text of which is generated automatically.
If there is no configured mail client on your device, then simply copy the text generated by the application and send it as an email to recover@telegram.org
Wait for response, and keep in mind: this is not Plus Messenger issue, this is Telegram one; we are not telegram. only telegram can unban your number.

Some issues can be caused by app cache oversize.
1. Clear app cache and local database here: App menu - Settings - Data and Storage - Storage Usage
2. Clean chats cache by tapping here.
⚠️ Please note
Your chats are stored on Telegram servers so they will not be deleted from your account. But you will have to download texts and media again after chats cleaning. Save them to your storage before cache cleaning if you do not want to redownload them.

previous version when i sent videos and wrote caption, then send it you can edit caption on those vids
in latest beta version, edit caption option on some vids (media) it's gone
