Guide to fix battery drain

• Unlock bootloader (#unlockbl note)
• Flash a custom recovery (see #downloads)
• Download Magisk (see #downloads)
• Flash Magisk.apk through recovery (yes, magisk.apk can be flashed as if it's a zip)
• Reboot to system

If the above method doesn't work and you end up in bootloop or boot to fastboot, dirty flash your ROM (in order to have again a clean boot.img) and try the "Patching images" method from here (your device has boot ramdisk, so you can skip right to the steps).

Gaming Rom?

There's nothing like a gaming rom and don't expect to do heavy gaming on phone like Poco X3 Pro. It's already 4 years old and it's soc Snapdragon 860 (aka 855+) is more than 5 years old so don't expect cutting edge performance from it and don't forget that your phone already has chronic heating issues which will cause your phone's motherboard to get fried , so don't ask for a gaming rom instead take care of this old piece of junk or buy a new device. Still if you want a rom with good performance or battery backup then look for clean roms like Lineage Os or something like that cause more customisation=less performance. Also remember good battery backup and good performance can't co exist.
