We Have This Treasure!

We have been given a treasure! God has taken from Himself and given unto us!

2 Corinthians 4:6-7
For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Do you realize the magnitude of this treasure you have been given? It is the gift of God given to you! A gift that you did nothing to deserve! He freely gave just because He loved you, beloved!

Oh what love!

1 John 3:1
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.

This treasure we have been given is to be given to others, not just kept for ourselves! We are His ministers, sent out to show unto others that they too can receive this treasure!

2 Corinthians 5:18-21
And all things are of God, Who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

In this world there are givers and takers! Which will you choose to be? If we are to imitate our Father, and reflect His life, we will be givers; and you can’t out give God! In giving you will receive blessings beyond what this world can give!

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

It really is more blessed to give than to receive! Jesus knew this; He gave His very life for you!

Acts 20:35
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the Words of the LORD Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Whatever it is you would have others do unto you — you do unto them! The world says the opposite of that, but God’s way is not the way of the world!

Do you need mercy; give mercy! Do you need love; give love! Do you need forgiveness; give forgiveness! Give as the Father gave to you! Give even to those who hate, and curse you!

Luke 6:30-35
Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. We have been given the treasure of His love and mercy! Don’t keep it to yourself — give it to others!

The scripture we started with began with these Words that tell us why we have been given this treasure by our Father — That our faith would stand in the power of God not man!

1 Corinthians 2:5
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

We have His life giving powerful treasure in us, and powerful weapons to live this life! Thank You, LORD!

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Just As You Are!

Do you believe that you can’t come to the Father because you’ve made such a mess of your life, that He would turn you away?

Beloved, Jesus died for you — just as you are!

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

He is waiting with His arms stretched out, calling for you to come to Him; calling you to come home, just like the words in this hymn speak.

“Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me;
see, on the portals He's waiting and watching, watching for you and for me. Come home, come home; you who are weary come home; earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home! Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, pleading for you and for me? Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
mercies for you and for me?”

His Words in the passage below speak of His desire for those who are weary and burdened with the weight of their sin, and the cares of this life to come to Him for rest!

Matthew 11:28
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

A great exchange happens when we come to the Father through Jesus for salvation. We surrender our lives to Him, and we receive forgiveness, and eternal life!

Beloved, God loves you! He didn’t come to condemn you, but to give you eternal life!

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Let me close with the story of the woman who wrote the song, “Just As I Am”, that is so often sung as an invitation for people to come to the Father, through Jesus for salvation. Here’s her story, taken from the book, ‘Then Sings My Soul.”

She was an embittered woman, Charlotte Elliott of Brighton, England. Her health was broken, and her disability had hardened her. "If God loved me,” she muttered, "He would not have treated me this way."

Hoping to help her, a Swiss minister, Dr. Cesar Malan, visited the Elliotts on May 9, 1822. Over dinner, Charlotte lost her temper and railed against God and family in a violent outburst. Her embarrassed family left the room, and Dr. Malan was left alone with her.

“You are tired of yourself aren’t you?” he asked. “You are holding to your hate and anger because you have nothing else in the world to cling to. Consequently, you have become sour, bitter, and resentful."

"What is your cure?" asked Charlotte. His reply — “The faith you are trying to despise."

As they talked, Charlotte softened. "If I wanted to become a Christian and to share the peace and joy you possess," she finally asked, "what would I do?"

“You would give yourself to God just as you are now, with your fightings and fears, hates and loves, pride and shame."

"I would come to God just as I am? Is that right?"

Charlotte did come just as she was, and her heart was changed that day. As time passed she found and claimed John 6:37 as a special verse for her life!”

John 6:37
All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.

Will you come to the Father, beloved? Will you surrender all that you are to Him, and rest in His grace and love today? He won’t turn you away!

He is calling — Come unto Me just as you are!

Hello Praying Medic,

I first heard of you through Mark Taylor (Trump Prophecies) around 2018 or 2019 through a prayer group I was in at the time. I really appreciate all your teachings on prayer, super natural healing & other topics. I have used your teachings on prayer, for praying for others throughout the years, with miraculous results.

Early this year, I developed some health issues of my own, peripheral neuropathy (though tests are still being conducted) & macular degeneration in my right eye, though this is to be confirmed by an opthalmologist in early May. I went on your website and went over the Healing Prayer for the Nervous System. The first time I went through the prayer, I noticed that I no longer have floaters. I have had these for over 30 years. I also noted improvement in my peripheral neuropathy, as well as my eyesight improving with each subsequent time I listen to the prayer. I have had glasses since around 3rd or 4th grade, and I am 62 years old now. I am also noticing some improvement in my injured discs in my lumbar area, and in my cervical spine, which were injured in two accidents in 1992.

NEW: All seven Republican congressmembers from New York request the DOJ to subpoena Governor Andrew Cuomo, his secretary, and the NYS Commissioner of Health over their "coverup" of the roughly 50% of nursing home-related COVID deaths that were unreported.
