It’s not just unbelievers who have itching ears! So many Christians today have itching ears as well! They don’t want their sin or any one else’s pointed out! They encourage tolerance of sin, which the LORD hates!

We must be encouragers, but we must encourage with His truth as the consequences of sin are eternal judgment and damnation! And we must do so all the more as we see the day of Jesus return approaching!

Hebrews 10:25-27
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Several years ago now a brother in Christ shared this word of encouragement with me. It came to mind today after I heard these words in my heart during prayer — ‘You have been strategically placed’!

I pray this brother’s words will be an encouragement to each of you as they have been to me!

Here are his words!

“I believe The Lord showed me He has positioned you on the line, between heaven and earth. I saw the earth very dark, with little light at all, as if almost all the light was gone but there was a sliver (a remnant maybe?) of light remaining. I saw the expanse of the heavens against it and that you were right there, between them, aware that God cloaks Himself in darkness but those with faith see beyond the cloak, beyond the veil, for it has been torn and opened to all who believe. The line was so stark. I have no words to describe how impactful it was to just see the line and the dramatic contrast of that which He has positioned you between, to stand in the gap. It was as if God has positioned you to draw the light from heaven to help light the world. But, I also had a sense that the angle you have on things might have you thinking, perceiving, or feeling that you are out of kilter. You are not! You are right where God put you. The angle, though it sometimes feels like almost everything is upside down, is the angle He has given you. Your place may seem low and downright lonely but, its purpose is eternal.”

Beloved, we like Esther have been strategically placed here at this time in HIStory for His purposes!

May we fulfill all the purposes He has for us and be shining lights in these dark days! May we draw from Him and hold forth His Word of Life, being faithful to the end in Jesus Name!

Philippians 2:15-16

God loved us so much, He was willing to send His only Son to die for our sins! He paid for our salvation in His blood, and His blood will continually cover us when we walk in obedience to Him!

But many are not willing to lay down their own selfish desires for His! We are to have the mind of Christ!

Philippians 2:5-8
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The people who inherit eternal life will be few! They are called the remnant!

Isaiah 1:9
Except the LORD of Hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Remnant: a usually small part, member, or trace remaining: a small surviving group—often used in plural.

So many are following a man today — even many who claim they belong to the LORD, and love Him!

Beloved, how do we know in these days of great deception who is truly following our LORD, and part of His remnant?

How will we know we are on the right path?

By our fruits! The Word of God tells us we will know we love Him if we keep His Word! The one who says they know and love God, but disregard His Word are liars and the truth is not in them!

Matthew 7:15-23
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. As we begin a new year, it’s always a good time to remember where we’ve been, and to remember the faithfulness of the LORD in our lives! It’s also a new beginning! A time to forget what is behind and look forward with joy to what is ahead, knowing that we can trust the LORD each hour, no matter what the future holds!

Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Jesus looked forward with joy! He is our example!

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Beloved child of God — Remember what He has done for you, and remember your covenant to Him! Tell these things to your children and to your grandchildren!

Move forward with confidence and hope, turning away from and forgetting your former sinful life and pressing on to eternal life with Him, walking in obedience to His Word!

We Must Remember — We Must Forget!

Remembering what the LORD had done in the past was so important to Him that He had the Israelites set up stones! He wanted them to remember His past faithfulness, and to tell their children about it as well!

Jacob set up a stone to remember the promise the LORD made to give he and his seed the promised land, and to care for them wherever they went! It was also a stone to help Jacob remember his promise to the LORD that he would make Him his LORD and God, and give a tenth of everything the LORD would give him back to Him!

Genesis 28:11-22
And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Moses set up stones as a reminder of God’s commandments to the Israelites, and their promise to walk in obedience to them!

Exodus 24:3-4
And Moses came and told the people all the Words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the Words which the LORD hath said will we do. And Moses wrote all the Words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

After the Israelites miraculously passed over the Jordan River on dry ground, the LORD had them set up stones of remembrance! Read all of this story in Joshua 4!

Joshua 4:1-7
And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying, Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man, And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.

The LORD is doing a work beloved, a glorious work, we should rejoice that we know His plans and purposes will prevail!

In the days ahead it will be more important than ever that we be watching closely! We must read His Word, and walk in obedience to Him, so that we’re not deceived! We must heed the Words of Jesus!

A Warning To The Righteous!

Just because a person has once walked with the LORD, the Word tells us they can turn back from their righteousness by walking in disobedience to Him!

We are told to warn those who say they are His about walking in unrighteousness, yet when we do often we are the ones who are condemned by others for doing so!

Let’s see what His Word tells us, not what others tell us! We are living in days of great deception and it will only get worse the closer we come to the return of Jesus!

Remember the very important Words of Jesus — Take heed that you aren’t deceived!

Ezekiel 3:18-21
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Joshua spoke these Words of warning to the people of God!

Joshua 24:19-20
And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for He is an holy God; He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that He hath done you good.

Luke 21:8
And He (Jesus) said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Former President, Jimmy Carter died yesterday! I don’t know his heart, but I do know that he supported a party that advocated for the murder of babies through abortion, and one that promoted and supported ame sex marriage! Sadly not unlike the Republican Party now does!

I will show my age here, but I am ashamed to say that the very first vote I cast for President was for Jimmy Carter!

Why did I do so? Because he claimed to be a Christian; he was even a Sunday school teacher! He came in the Name of Jesus!

Jimmy Carter said this about homosexuality!

“Homosexuality was well known in the ancient world, well before Christ was born, and Jesus never said a word about homosexuality. In all of his teachings about multiple things — he never said that gay people should be condemned.”

These words spoken by Jimmy Carter have and will continue to lead many to eternal damnation!

Jesus made it clear that marriage is between a man and a woman, and He always pointed to the Old Testament scriptures as authoritative! He even said He didn’t come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it!

Matthew 19:4-6
And He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Matthew 5:17-19
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Be Thou My Vision!

Where do you find yourself today? Are you going through something in your personal life or is someone you love facing something that seems insurmountable?

What about concerns about what lies ahead? Do you worry about what we will face in these last days?

Do you worry that the deception and persecution we will face for standing with the LORD will be so great that you or your loved ones might not stand firm to the end, even until death if necessary?

Jehoshaphat and the people of God faced an attack of the enemy that seemed to the human eye to be insurmountable! Here’s what they did, and what we can do as well! Let’s look at the story in 2 Chronicles 20!

First they acknowledged the power of the LORD, and cried out to Him — LORD, we have no might against this great company that is coming against us; and we don’t know what to do — But our eyes are on You!

2 Chronicles 20
[8] O LORD God of our fathers, art not Thou God in heaven? and rulest not Thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in Thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand Thee?

A few years ago a dear friend gave me a plaque with the words — ‘Be Thou My Vision’ written on it! What does that mean? To me it means that in every circumstance of my life my eyes should be on the LORD, trusting in Him!

Beloved, in order to stand fast to the end and persevere through every trial, even the final one is to keep our eyes on Him!

Revelation 12:9-11
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Like Jehoshaphat, we must acknowledge our insufficiency!

2 Chronicles 20
[9-13] If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in Thy presence, (for Thy Name is in this house,) and cry unto Thee in our affliction, then Thou wilt hear and help. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon Thee. And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

We mustn’t fear!

How many times are we told in the Word of God not to fear? Some say it is 365, enough for every day! While the Bible does not say “Fear not” exactly 365 times, it contains so many scriptures that encourage us to trust in the LORD and not fear!

Jesus spoke these Words to His disciples!

Matthew 10:28-31
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Now back to the story of Jehoshaphat!

2 Chronicles 20
[15] And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Although the battle was not theirs because the LORD was the One who would fight it, they were to ‘stand still’ in His peace but go forward and watch the LORD save them!

2 Chronicles 20
[17] Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

Strategically Placed!

We are alive at this time for a specific reason! We are not here by happenstance or fate, but rather by the hand of God!

Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Ephesians 1:4
According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Beloved, knowing that the time is short before the return of Jesus, what does the Word of God say we should be doing with the precious time we’ve been given? How does He say we should be living?

Let’s look to His Word together!

2 Peter 3:9-14
The LORD is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The LORD could return at any moment and we must be ready ourselves, and we must warn others to be ready as well!

The first mission of a Christian is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Mark 16:15-16
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

We must love others enough to tell them to flee the wrath that will come on all unbelievers in Jesus Christ at judgment!

John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

As Peter wrote in his letter above, we are to live holy and blameless lives as we await His return!

We are in this world, but we aren’t to of the world and caught up in the desires of our flesh!

1 John 2:15-17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We are to love and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to walk in obedience to His Word!

Paul told Timothy to preach the Word, but also to reprove, rebuke, and exhort, and not to stop doing so!

We must know the Word in order to preach it, and in order not to fall into the deception that abounds in these days! The enemy knows the Word, and he will attempt to use it against us by twisting it!

Reproving, rebuking, and exhorting are not always pleasant things to do, as they are often met with anger and even hate! But we seek to please the LORD and lead others to Him, rather than have the approval of man!

2 Timothy 4:2-4
Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

When I look around I see the reality of this deception!

So many have been hypnotized and taken captive by the swelling words of a man who promises to give them everything their heart desires in this life — A “golden age”!

They don’t realize they have been seduced and charmed and are following a man down the wide path to destruction!

2 Peter 2:18-22
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. Beloved, the time is short to decide who you follow and which path you will take! The deception will grow greater and greater with each passing day!

Mark 13:22-23
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

If you have strayed and taken a wrong turn — repent and turn back to the LORD, and walk in His Way!

Revelation 2:4-5
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first Love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Revelation 3:2-5
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Does it feel like you are standing alone in speaking the truth?

Remember, you are never alone because the LORD is with you!

Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.

But we must also remember that the Way to eternal life is narrow, and only a few will find it!

Matthew 7:13-14
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Who are you following? Is your hope and your focus on the LORD?

How do we overcome Satan and the lusts of our flesh?

And ye shall be hated of all men for My Name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

We are told there is a cost that must be counted when we decide to walk with the LORD, and turn away from the world!

Luke 14:26-30
If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

As a reminder of God’s deliverance, Samuel set up a stone of remembrance!

1 Samuel 7:3-12
And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve Him only: and He will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines. Jeremiah remembered things in his past that deeply grieved him! Those things also served as reminders of the mercy of the LORD, and of His redeeming faithfulness to those who turn to Him in repentance!

We all have things that we regret and they remind is of the grief they caused us and perhaps others. But while remembering, we must also not let them paralyze us from walking forward in faithfulness to the LORD, because He is merciful and faithful beloved!

Lamentations 3:19-25
Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.

The apostle Paul knew he had been zealous in keeping the law, even persecuting and leading Christians, who he believed were against the LORD away to be killed; but Paul also knew that the LORD forgave him, and his new life as a Christian was brought about by the forgiveness and mercy of God! Paul remembered but he also forgot! He penned these Words!

Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Are You Watching?

Where is your focus? There’s a saying that a person can be so heavenly minded that they’re no earthly good! But is this a rebuke the LORD would give us, or the world and lukewarm church!

So many Christians are caught up in the world and have forgotten what Jesus said! Our eyes and our desires are not to be on the things of this world, but on Him!

If our eyes are on Him, we will be sensitive to see what He’s doing around us, and we will join Him in those things!

I was reminded this morning of this message He placed on my heart!

The LORD is doing a marvelous work in our time!

Habakkuk 1:5
Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

What is going on behind the scenes? What is the LORD doing?

When we look around at the condition of our world, we too cry with Habakkuk, O LORD, how long?

Habakkuk 1:2-3
O LORD, how long shall I cry, and Thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto Thee of violence, and Thou wilt not save! Why dost Thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.

As I prayed this morning and talked to the LORD about my concerns, I heard these Words — I am doing a work in your day that you won’t believe!

A work that is marvelous and awesome for My people, but grievous to those who don’t know Me! The curtain of heaven will soon be opened and things will happen quickly!

I saw horses, like a stampede running from the sky! Then I read Habakkuk and saw these words!

Habakkuk 1:6-10
For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.

Beloved, when we see the things spoken of in the Word coming to pass, we are not to be fearful! The closing acts of God’s Word are only fearsome to the unsaved! We are to look up, to be watchful, and to know that when we see these things our redemption is drawing near!

Hallelujah!!

Luke 22 speaks of many of the signs we will see. Please take the time to read it all! But then it says this!

Luke 21:28
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

What does it mean to lift up your head? It means God's people watching as the nations of the world are in distress, but rather than being afraid should lift our heads in confidence of God's promised deliverance!

He is called the Lifter of our head!!!

Psalm 3:1-3
LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But Thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

What is God doing? He has orchestrated and is carrying out His plan for His people, for the world, for eternity, and He is on His throne seeing that every piece of the divine puzzle falls into place, at just the perfect time!

Nothing can stop His plan, nothing!! He laughs at man’s attempts to do so!

Psalm 2:1-5
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, Let us break Their bands asunder, and cast away Their cords from us.

The Word of God is clear in both the Old and New Testament that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination! Homosexuals are listed among those who will not inherit the kingdom of God!

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuals), Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the Name of the LORD Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Leviticus 18:22-23
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

Romans 1:27
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Homosexuality is a sin! You can be forgiven, but you can’t continue in sin and inherit eternal life. As Paul told the church at Corinth above — Such were some of you! We must repent and turn away from all sin!

Just like Jesus told the woman caught in adultery about her sin, He would say to homosexuals and all sinners — Go and sin no more!

So many today want to have their ears tickled! They don’t want anyone to tell them to turn away from their fleshly desires! They don’t want to be warned of the consequences of their sin!

But beloved if we truly love the LORD and love others , we must warn! There are many who like Jimmy Carter, do good works and come in the Name of the LORD, but don’t obey His Word!

The Word tells us how we will know if we love Him and truly know Him!

John 14:23-24
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My Words: and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make Our abode with him. He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the Word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me.

1 John 5:2-3
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.

Peter also gave this warning to the righteous!

2 Peter 2:18-22
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

The flesh seeks to be gratified by its desires even if they contradict God’s Word, but we are warned not to love the world or its ways!

1 John 2:15-19

We must humble ourselves and worship Him for what He’s done in the past, what He’s doing now, and what we know His Word tells us He will do in the future!

No matter what our circumstances say, or our emotions tell us, we must hold fast to what His Word tells us!

2 Chronicles 20
[18 - 23] And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

Do you see that when the people began to praise the LORD the enemy began to be defeated! He even caused the enemy to turn on one another!

Finally we see the LORD defeat their enemies as He will ours, and the people gathering the spoils, including the ‘precious jewels’!

2 Chronicles 20
[25] And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

This mention of precious jewels always reminds me of the jewels He talks about in Malachi!

Malachi 3:16-17
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His Name. And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of Hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Beloved, are your eyes on the LORD today? If not turn your eyes to Him!

Thank You LORD that You are able! You are faithful! You will keep us through the days ahead! We can bring all our cares and worries and fears to You and leave them with You and go in peace in Jesus Name!

Philippians 4:6-8
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
