Lavanda has devoted her life to medicine, volunteering and war. Anastasiia also delivered humanitarian aid to the de-occupied territories, in particular to Kherson, after the Russian army blew up the Kakhovka Reservoir dam.

Ukraine produces about 20 Bohdana 155mm caliber self-propelled howitzers per month - President Zelenskyy.
According to available informarion, about a year ago, Ukraine produced six such howitzers (a battery) per month. This means that production has increased by 3 times in less than a year.
As of February 2022, only one prototype of the Bohdana howitzer existed, on which work was still in progress.
Despite all the risks, Ukraine decided to invest in its production in March-April 2022.
The second Bohdana was finished in February 2023. That is, about 10 months later. The new howitzer was tested in combat and then further upgraded.
So, the dynamics are the following:
◾️ about 10 months from one Bohdana to 2 of them;
◾️ about 10 months from two howitzers to 6 units monthly;
◾️ about 10 months from 6 to about 20 units monthly.
Investments in the Ukrainian military-industrial complex are effective support for Ukraine. The more there are, the more Ukraine will be able to defend itself and the West.

DrukArmy, a Ukrainian grassroots 3D printing cooperative, supplies our Defenders with crucial equipment and parts for drones, radios, and rifles.
They leverage a network of 10 000+ 3D printers across Ukraine and abroad to produce much-needed supplies for the Ukrainian army and deliver them straight to the frontlines.
In two years, what started as a purely volunteer initiative by a popular blogger Yevhen Volnov, has been scaled up to a major production – they have an R&D department, quality control processes, a unified coordination platform, established logistics and constant communication and feedback from the military. So far, they have supplied over 275 tons to the AFU – anything from artillery shells and drone release systems, to protective eye gear and prosthetics.
The production “at cost” is largely covered by the volunteer printers themselves – they buy as much special plastic for 3D printing as they can. Some Ukrainian companies and foundations provide funds to cover the printing expenses. This funding model allows DrukArmy to supply parts directly to the military for free.

Ever the diplomat Lavrov called President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula "stupid" and Victory Plan "schizophrenic".
"The West is turning a blind eye by continuing to promote the dead-end, I would even say stupid, Peace Formula of Zelenskyy, who calls for Russia's surrender. And a couple weeks ago, he unveiled an equally schizophrenic Victory Plan. Of course, neither the formula, nor the plan, nor fantasies about membership of Kyiv-controlled Ukraine in NATO or the European Union will bring peace in Europe any closer".
Not that we needed any more proof that Russia is not interested in lasting, sustainable peace or real negotiations at this point. Russia wants Ukrainian defeat and sumbission. They would perceive this as the West's defeat - and they would be right, actually.
Rescuers have found a body of a 15-year-old boy, Borys, under the rubble in Kharkiv.
Borys is probably no longer alive as he sustained very serious injuries and spent too many hours under the debris.
The rescuers are trying to decide how to get him out, as the building is not stable.

The UN Security Council will meet tonight to discuss the deployment of North Korean troops in Russia.
Meanwhile, Reuters reports that South Korea is considering sending a team of military monitors to Ukraine to observe and analyze the expected deployment of North Korean troops by Russia.
According to a presidential official, "it is incumbent upon" them to do so since Pyongyang would learn valuable lessons from its troops engaging in combat and witnessing modern warfare by helping Russia, and that constituted a direct military threat to South Korea.

One of them, Colonel General Kim Yong Bok, is a senior general with command of special forces troops, including the XI Corps, also known as the Storm Corps, which the South Korean intelligence service said has been dispatched to Russia.
Also, in remarks to the UN Security Council, Ukraine's delegation stated that plans call for the North Korean troops to be formed into at least five formations of 2,000-3,000 soldiers each, and integrated into Russian units to conceal their presence.

Brutal repression in Russian-controlled Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions has institutionalized Soviet-style tactics, with over 100 known detention sites where Ukrainian civilians are tortured, beaten, or killed. At least 14,000 Ukrainian civilians are imprisoned on fabricated charges, facing arbitrary violence, forced disappearances, and torture.
The chances of falling victim to the Russian repressions increase exponentially for those who refuse to get a Russian passport or otherwise show signs of affiliation with Ukraine. In addition to coerced “passportization,” Russia enforces propaganda, “re-education,” and even relocates children to Russia to erase Ukrainian identity.
Independent journalists and investigators are rarely allowed to access these areas, but testimonies from victims who survived or escaped reveal a grim reality:
▪️People who escaped to Ukraine compare living under Russian authorities to being locked in a cage.
▪️One Ukrainian recounts being beaten with a crowbar and waterboarded in Russian detention – it took him 8 months to recover from the injuries he sustained there. Thankfully, he has since made his return to Ukraine.
▪️Another recalls being brutally beaten to unconsciousness – only two of his ribs remained intact - and thrown in a field filled with dozens of decaying bodies of others like him. Luckily, a local woman found him and nursed him back to health in secret. He managed to escape Russian occupation not once, but twice – first, from Donetsk in 2015, and then from Zaporizhzhia region recently.
These are just a few among thousands of similar cases. Each escapee from the occupied territories carries stories of brutal treatment—either their own or those of loved ones.

About 3000 North Korean troops have been secretly deployed to Russia's Kursk region, and placed in barracks about 50 km from the Ukrainian border, the Financial Times reports, citing sources.
One senior Ukrainian intelligence official reportedly told the Financial Times that only a few hundred of the 3,000 were special forces, the rest were regular troops awaiting orders from the Russian command.
However, Ukrainian intelligence doubts their combat capability, as most of them are inexperienced infantrymen who have never been in real combat, and their experience is far from modern warfare. Therefore, Russians are likely to use them as "cannon fodder".

Employees of the Perm Powder Plant in Russia are forced to work without days off for the sake of helping Iran.
The workers recorded a video message to Governor Makhonin. In it, they say that their management forces employees to work without days off and to stay after their shifts for four more hours on weekdays without paying for overtime.

By the end of 2024, Russia planned to bring Ukraine to the Russian scenario - ultimatum/catastrophe and capitulation of Ukraine: huge territorial losses, destruction of sovereignty, temporary preservation of artificial statehood or no statehood at all.
To sum up:
🔹 In the spring of 2024, the Kremlin targeted Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. But Ukraine stopped the offensive.

The Kremlin has not fulfilled its goals set for 2024. Russia has not approached the US elections with a final ultimatum on Ukraine. This means that there will be a search for compromise.

The process of negotiations will certainly be influenced by the elections results in the United States and the situation after the elections - this is also about stability. Stalling for a couple of months is an opportunity for the Russian Federation to further shake Ukraine.
Ukraine is now an arena of struggle for democracy and redistribution of zones of influence. And not only an arena, but also a weapon. The loss of Ukraine would mean the final destabilization and collapse of the existing world order and structures. Europe and Western democracies have a direct interest in a strong and independent Ukraine.
