The Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico has asked the Mexican government to arrest war criminal Putin if the Russian dictator comes to the inauguration of President Claudia Sheinbaum.
Earlier it became known that the government of Mexico, which is a member of the ICC, sent an invitation to the Kremlin dictator. The country's Foreign Ministry explained that it was a standard "mailing" to all countries with which it maintains diplomatic relations.
"We hope that the Mexican government is aware that Putin is a war criminal who is subject to an arrest warrant for suspicion of kidnapping and forcible deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia issued by the International Criminal Court, whose jurisdiction Mexico recognizes.

Russian Telegram channels report a drone attack on a military airfield in Lipetsk region of Russia last night.
A state of emergency has been introduced in the region, the detonation of ammunition at the military airfield in Lipetsk continues.

I don't think military actions in Russian Kursk region will scare Russians much (except for the residents of the region themselves) and get them out on the streets with anti-war posters.
We saw this in the example of Russian Belgorod region - the rest of the Russians did not show any fear or sympathy and did not think in any way about the fact that war could come to their homes.
Most of them lack empathy for other countries and people as well as for each other.
I also don't think it will worsen the attitude of ordinary Russians towards Putin.
In fact, we're seeing the opposite - Russians are starting to say that Putin is right, that Russia is really under attack, and they're starting to become even more in favor of Putin's war.
Propaganda and the cult of war have led to most Russians being unable to think critically. They are only able nod along with the Kremlin, hate and sacrifice their lives and the lives of their children. They live by war and do not seek peace.
