Russian conscripts captured in Kursk region complain that they were thrown "to the slaughter" without any military training.
One of them told about the "heroism" of Kadyrov's henchmen from the Akhmat group in Kursk region.
"America started a war, attacked us. I don't know why. We Russians are so kind and sympathetic."
Residents of Karelia, one of Russia's worst regions in terms of quality of life, shared their thoughts about the war in Ukraine.
"Why occupiers? Ukraine is very cruel to Russia. Poles and Finns have always hated us. But we haven't done anything bad," they say.

Читать полностью…According to Russian Telegram channels, panic reigns in the border areas of Russia's Kursk region, where fighting has been going on all week.
‼️Russian media have introduced a new term: "voluntary evacuation".
◾️ there are no police, firefighters, medics or representatives of the Russian administration;
◾️Russian settlements, according to official information, have been abandoned by more than 76,000 people;
◾️ most people left on their own, as there was no organized evacuation, contrary to the Russian authorities' statements;
◾️ depopulation of villages became a catalyst for rampant Russian looting among the remaining population.
"Stores are being looted, there is a collapse in Korenevo, Magnit has just been robbed. No water, no gas, no light. There was no organized evacuation, and if there was any, why haven't we in Lobanovka [Korenevsky district] heard anything about it?" - a local resident wrote.
The situation is similar in other Russian border municipalities. Residents say that representatives of the administration have provoked a collapse in the border areas themselves by leaving people to their fate.
At present, the administration of Korenevsky district of Russian Kursk region cannot be reached. People are forced to self-organize in order to protect themselves and their property and perform the functions of state and law enforcement authorities.
◾️ Residents of Kursk region who were affected will be paid 10,000 rubles each, that's about $100. Apparently, Russia has money only for contract soldiers and for war.
Russia is gradually returning into the 1990s.
In the video, a Russian journalist shares about cases of looting in Lgov, Kursk region of Russia.
Head of Kursk region: the AFU have entered the Belovsky district of Russia's Kursk region.
"Today we do not understand some moments in the border areas. Therefore, I ask all residents to keep calm. Those residents who left the territory of the district today, stay in the places where you arrived. <...> Those who want to leave, please contact the heads of village councils and the administration - buses will be provided".

As of today, three months of the Russian "offensive" on Kharkiv have passed.
It started in March 2024 (after Avdiivka).
The situation as of spring 2024:
Ukrainian energy sector is being systematically destroyed by Russia; the U.S. aid is blocked; Russia wants to reach the strongest possible position by November 2024.
There is talk of a future Russian offensive in September-October. Ukraine enhances mobilization.
Russia's goals for spring 2024:
◾️ weakening Ukraine by destroying its energy infrastructure;
◾️ to paralyze Ukraine's governance by rocking the issue of President Zelenskyy's "illegitimacy";
◾️ influence on elections in the West to change course and block foreign aid for Ukraine;
◾️ counteroffensive on Kharkiv to cause panic among the Ukrainian population and to draw forces of the Ukrainian army away from other parts of the front.
The bottom line for today:
🔷 the attempt to rock the situation with the "illegitimacy" of the Ukrainian president failed;
🔷 attempt to change the course of Europe and block aid for Ukraine failed;
🔷 the situation in the U.S. continues to be uncertain and unpredictable for Russia. Therefore, Putin will try to intensify the political polarization in the U.S., going for maximum destabilization and weakening;
🔷 Russia managed to significantly damage Ukraine's power grid;
🔷 the Russian counteroffensive in the Kharkiv direction was stopped;
🔷 U.S. military aid for Ukraine was resumed;
🔷️ EU continues supporting Ukraine;
🔷 some restrictions on the use of U.S. weapons on the Russian territory were lifted.
As of today, Russia has definitely not achieved all of its goals, but the main battle is still ahead.
The impact of military actions in Kursk on the front will depend on their outcome. But the political situation is beginning to change:
The offensive in Kursk region will show the limits of Putin's regime's stability, in addition to a number of practical results.
The behavior of Lukashenko, Kadyrov, Russian oligarchs, generals, and influential officials shows a wait-and-see attitude and doubts.
The less stability the Russian regime has, the better.
In turn, Ukraine needs to demonstrate unity and resilience.
And prepare for a hard winter.
As we can see, even this year, Ukraine has changed the negative scenario many times due to our resilience.
Ukraine continues to fight in unusually difficult and unfavorable conditions.
Glory to our Heroes!

Iran to deliver hundreds of ballistic missiles to Russia soon, intel sources say - Reuters
Dozens of Russian military personnel are being trained in Iran to use the Fath-360 close-range ballistic missile system, according to two European intelligence sources. One of the sources said that "the only next possible" step after training would be actual delivery of the missiles to Russia.
Russian defense ministry representatives are believed to have signed a contract on December 13 in Tehran with Iranian officials for the Fath-360 and another ballistic missile system built by Iran's government-owned Aerospace Industries Organization called the Ababil.
A spokesman for the U.S. National Security Council said the United States and its NATO allies and G7 partners "are prepared to deliver a swift and severe response if Iran were to move forward with such transfers," viewing it as a significant escalation of Iran's support for Russia's war in Ukraine.

900 days of full-scale war.
Honestly, it's hard to even wrap my head around this number. Especially since we don't know how many more of these 100-day "anniversaries" we will have.
What I'd like to say is that Ukraine and Ukrainians continue surprising the whole world (and ourselves) with our resilience. We are exhausted but we keep fighting. Keep believing. Keep being grateful to all who support us.
Let's recall a few important events that took place during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and specifically what Ukrainian managed to do, for the first time in the world, during these 900 days:
◾️ strike a fifth-generation fighter jet (the SU-57 aircraft was hit on June 8, 2024);
◾️ intercept an air-launched ballistic missile (the first time the shooting down of a Kinzhal ballistic missile was reported on May 4, 2023);
◾️ shoot down an AEW&C aircraft (the shooting down of the A-50 aircraft was first reported on December 14, 2023);
◾️ to hit an over-the-horizon radar (the hit of the Voronezh-DM radar was reported on May 23, 2024);
◾️ intercept a hypersonic missile (the first time the shooting down of a Zircon cruise missile was reported on March 25, 2024);
◾️ shoot down a strategic bomber (the shooting down of a TU-22M3 bomber was reported on April 19, 2024);
◾️ sink a missile cruiser (the cruiser Moskva was sunk on April 14, 2022);
◾️conduct the war on Russian territory, as well.
Slava Ukraini. Thank you for being here, friends!

Russian media report that the Kursk NPP is being prepared for defense.
On Friday afternoon, law enforcers blocked entrances to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant.
Now, Kursk NPP is the only plant in Russia where new innovative power units are being actively built. The reactor vessel was delivered to the construction site in 2023. According to the Russian media, the units under construction were de-energized, and the builders left the site.
According to the source of Vazhnie Istorii (Important Stories) media outlet, the management recommended that NPP employees take vacations at their own expense and evacuate their children. In addition, since August 7, remote rotational workers - 10,000 construction workers living in the 40,000-strong town of Kurchatov, where the plant is located - have been leaving the NPP construction site.
Rosatom confirmed that it has reduced the number of construction workers at Kursk NPP-2.
Russian bloggers report that the Kursk NPP is preparing for defense, as small AFU mobile groups of 5-20 people have allegedly been spotted already in Shagarovo (39 km along the highway to the NPP). At the moment, the Russian media is reporting fighting in Kromskiye Byki, 30 kilometers from the NPP.
"There is fighting several dozen kilometers from the borders of our city, the situation is tense, the emergency regime is in effect," the mayor of Kurchatov, Igor Korpunkov, commented today.
Earlier, an employee of Kursk NPP told Vazhnye Istorii that the management does not instruct the personnel in any way about the plan of action in case of a strike on the plant. Employees work in bunkers with thick walls.
Kursk NPP accounts for more than half of all electricity in Russia's Central Black Earth region. It is one of the three largest NPPs in the country and consists of four units.

⚡️Self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko:
"I am already publicly starting to say to all of you: you should get used to the fact (...) that there will be another president. No, I'm not saying that I'll leave you tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, and so on. But things happen in life. You have to get used to the fact that I'm not eternal, just like all of you."
Is he preparing escape routes?
Is this a message to Putin?
"Things happen in life." What's he implying?
⚡️Belarus says it is deploying Iskander missile systems and Polonez MLRSs to the border with Ukraine.
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that yesterday, Ukraine allegedly violated the country's airspace.
"Yesterday at 6:10 p.m., the forces of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus were put on high alert. We call it readiness №1," he said.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported that military units of the SDF, ground forces, rocket forces, including Polonez MLRSs and Iskander missile systems, had received tasks in Gomel and Mozyr directions.
Lukashenko is trying to help Putin and divert Ukraine's attention.
Medvedev threatens Germany to deliver Russian tanks to Berlin.
Kind reminder to Medvedev that in February 2023, a Russian tank was already delivered to Berlin and placed in front of the Russian Embassy for the convenience of the Russian side. Medvedev was not happy about that for some reason.
This tank is in Germany even now. If Medvedev insists, it is possible to exhibit it again or bring new ones, Ukraine will happily assist in this.
