Russian Z-bloggers report losses on Russian military airfields that were attacked last night.
Russian defense ministry reported that
4 tactical missiles and 117 aircraft-type drones were launched last night over Russian territory. According to them, everything was shot down.
A Z-blogger wrote:
"During the night, khokhly [Ukrainians] attacked three of our airfields.
Effective on some of them. Unfortunately, but logically.
The problem is the same. The farther an airfield is from the line of contact, the more peaceful life is there.
And covering a military airfield with one or two Pantsirs, you can only hope for luck.
Actually, that's exactly what many hope for."
Waiting for official confirmation.
Russian Telegram channels report a drone attack on Russian Voronezh last night.
By preliminary information, drones targeted Baltimor airfield. Aircraft launching guided aerial bombs on Ukraine take off from it.
Savasleyka airfield was also under a drone attack. MiG-31 take off from here. They carry Kinzhal missiles. Their launch leads to an air raid alert all over Ukraine.

Sergey Karnaukhov, host on Solovyev live, shared how a Russian priest working at the front had no holy relics to prepare communion.
So he noted that the field was full of the bones of dead Russian soldiers and declared these remains holy. Then he blessed a Russian assault group on the bones of previous soldiers.
Fortunately for him, new Russian bones are supplied every day.

The group he was in lost half of its soldiers before they even reached the position they were to capture. When the group commander died, the remaining occupiers found themselves at the epicenter of the massacre without coordination and support. They had nothing left to do but only to surrender.
He shared how officers in their unit treat lower-rank soldiers:
"They would load the refuseniks in a vehicle and put us in a pit, and we would sit in it. When they were taking us to the pit, they took one soldier out of the vehicle. We heard a bang, and that was it. The same happened with another one later. Maybe they were scaring us or something. But I never saw those guys again."
Russia keeps a lawyer from Melitopol who ran a Telegram channel about the life of the city under occupation as a slave - Reporters Without Borders.
Before the full-scale war in Ukraine began, Yevhen Ilchenko worked in Melitopol as a lawyer. At the very beginning of the invasion, the city was occupied by Russian troops. In May, Ilchenko created a Telegram channel in which he published news about the city. He wrote about problems with the supply of supermarkets, the presence of the Russian military, petty corruption, and lines for documents.
On July 10, the Russian military stormed Ilchenko's house. They searched the lawyer's apartment and stole jewelry and documents. Ilchenko himself was detained under the "terrorism" article - Reporters without Borders.
At first, Ilchenko was kept in Melitopol for several weeks and tortured together with other prisoners. According to RSF, the Russian military connected electrodes to the genitals of the prisoners and intimidated them with staged executions.
Since September, the lawyer was transferred to the village of Verbove, several dozen kilometers from Melitopol. There, the man was forced to dig trenches for the Russian military or clean weapons. Ilchenko spent several months there. Now, according to RSF, the lawyer is in detention in Taganrog.
"This is the first time, in nearly forty years of defending journalism, that RSF has documented a journalist, blogger or whistleblower subject to total slavery and forced to participate in a war effort against their own country," said RSF head of investigation desk Arnaud Froger.

Donald Trump gave an interview to Elon Musk on his social network X.
Here are some points. If you watched it/read recaps, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
◾️ "The war had zero chance of starting if I were president." This is how Trump commented on Russia's war against Ukraine. “Russia defeated Germany with us, and they defeated Napoleon. You know, they’ve been around a long time. They’re a big fighting force, and it’s very unfair … We’re in a very bad position. And I’m not going to blame, exclusively, but I can tell you, I could have stopped that.”
◾️ Trump argued that his 'strong' relationship with Putin could have prevented the conflict, saying that he had even told Putin not to take action. "I got along with Putin very well, and he respected me," Trump told Musk, adding "We would talk about Ukraine. It was the apple of his eye. But I told him don't do it." Trump plans to talk to Putin if he becomes president and wants to get along with him.
◾️ Trump warned about the threat from “nuclear warming,” which he said posed a greater danger than “global warming.”
◾️ Elon Musk may join Trump's administration if he wins the election.
Drones could have hit warehouses with special fuel for MiG-31K at Russia's Savasleyka air base – Defense Express
NASA satellite service shows a large fire in the area of unloading and storage of fuel and engine oils.
It is reported that since the MiG-31K was based on the air base, it is likely that these warehouses could store kerosene T-6 - a special heavy thermostable fuel required for supersonic flights at high altitude, in which the kerosene heats up to 100-150 degrees Celsius. This type of fuel is used only for these aircraft and is not available at every oil refinery.
Earlier, this kerosene was also used in the MiG-25, but they were taken out of service. MiG-31K can also fly on the common kerosene RT, but in this case, there will be restrictions on the flight mode, so the launch of Kinzhal missiles might be impossible.

Ukraine’s incursion into Kursk could be a turning point in history, just like the original 1943 battle - Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a former UK & NATO CBRN commander writes in The Telegraph.
According to him, the current Ukrainian offensive will hurt Putin on many fronts:
🔹️ Russia will have to redeploy forces from elsewhere on the front;
🔹️It became obvious that Russia does not have a sufficient mobile reserve to plug gaps in its defenses;
🔹️There is no indication that Russian locals, as well as conscripts, want to defend themselves and slow down the Ukrainian offensive.
🔹️This situation is deeply humiliating for Putin and could contribute to destabilizing his power: the Kremlin cannot defend Russian territory, let alone defeat Ukraine, and for the first time, this issue is given significant airtime in the mainstream media.
Hamish de Bretton-Gordon added that instead of worrying about "escalation," the West should ensure that Ukraine can build on its tactical successes in Kursk to force Russia to the negotiating table.

In a tense voice, Russian propagandist Skabeeva lists different measures that Lithuania, Romania, Moldova, Finland and other countries are taking that are causing Russia worry. She sounds impressed.
She forgets to congratulate the great geostrategist Putin on his achievements for bringing NATO closer to Russia.
This video is several days old, but I thought I'd share it.
Tatyana Butskaya, first deputy chairman of Russian Duma Committee for Family Protection, has proposed making the life of single Russians financially unprofitable: e.g., increasing mortgage rates for them.
According to Butskaya, the life of unmarried people should become unbearable, because "living in a family is more profitable than living alone".
And it's much better for producing cannon fodder for the tsar's wars.
"We love Ukraine!"
Travel bloggers from Japan visited Ukraine and sang the anthem together with street musicians in the center of Lviv.

A Russian resident of Kursk region tells how Russians authorities organized the evacuation of civilians:
"We were told there would be a train at 5 o'clock. A lot of people gathered. We arrived at the train station - there was no train. It had left. We've all been abandoned! Our head is a scoundrel, a real scoundrel! We don't know where she went. She's an idiot."
A resident of Korenevo urban-type settlement, Kursk region of Russia, tells about the "horrors of evacuation." The head of the district promised to help in the "voluntary evacuation" to Kursk by train, but when the residents arrived at the station at the appointed time, it turned out that the train had left without them.

Thank you in advance, friends! This is one of the best ways to support Ukraine.
Acting governor of the Kursk region wrote that evacuated Russians would be sent to the Russian-occupied part of Ukrainkan Zaporizhzia region.
Sanatoriums and pensions on the shores of the Azov Sea, located from Berdiansk to Kyrylivka, will be opened to the "resettled" (one more Russian term for evacuation).
By the way, Putin announced the opening of the Army-2024 military-technical forum yesterday.
At this time, Russian conscripts are being taken prisoner by the hundreds.
I wonder why the forum is not being held in Kursk?
Russian propagandists are back to "Russian borders end nowhere":
▪️ It is necessary to create the same thing as in Kharkiv region - a sanitary zone in Sumy region.
▪️ The question is: where does it end? The only reasonable sanitary zone - the one in which America will remain through the big puddle. But it is necessary to reach the border of this big puddle.
Russian navy trained to target sites inside Europe with nuclear-capable missiles – The Financial Times
The Russian Navy practiced nuclear strikes against European countries during exercises in case of a potential conflict with NATO. This follows from secret documents prepared between 2008 and 2014, which were examined by the Financial Times journalists.
The documents obtained by the publication, which were prepared for Russian officers, contain a list of targets for missiles capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear charges. A total of 32 targets for the Russian fleet in Europe are indicated on the maps created for the presentation.
Thus, the Russian Baltic Fleet will have to attack facilities in Norway and Germany. Among them are the naval base in Bergen, as well as radar stations and special forces facilities. The Northern Fleet, in turn, could hit defense industry facilities, including a shipyard in Britain's Barrow-in-Furness, where warships and submarines are built.
The documents note the advantage of using nuclear weapons early in a conflict. It is also said that the high maneuverability of the fleet allows for sudden and massive strikes from various directions. However, it is specified that nuclear weapons should be used in combination with other means of defeat. At the same time, as the Financial Times emphasizes, Russia has never previously acknowledged the existence of such strikes in its doctrine.

Russian propagandists discuss "an even larger-scale Ukrainian offensive in late August/early September."
"Probably the blocking of the land corridor to Crimea along with a massive F-16 strike on the Crimean bridge," they discussed on air on Channel One.
Putin has appointed Alexey Dyumin commander of the Northern direction of the "special military operation". Before that, he was president of Tula.
Dyumin is Putin's man, his former bodyguard.
Why did Putin appoint him to the Kursk direction?
It's very simple: Putin doesn't trust any of his generals.
Dyumin's appointment indicates serious problems in the Russian army. And this is understandable - the system is built in such a way that only thieves, corrupt officials and sycophants rise to the top. Putin built the system of governance so that the career ladder would be climbed by people who are controllable, low-initiative and not dangerous to him. They also attract such helpers.
I hope that Dyumin meets these criteria.
By the way, there is an interesting tale that Dyumin's career went up when he "saved Putin from a bear".
Allegedly, in 2012 in the mountains, when Putin was sleeping, a large bear came to the glass door of the house. Dyumin started shooting at its legs and the bear left. Putin found out about it in the morning and was very pleased.
Now Putin has called Dyumin again to "chase away the big bear"?
On August 10, soldiers of the SBU Military Counterintelligence Department with the call signs "Mechanic" and "Fox," together with scouts of the AFU's 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade with the call signs "Jew," "Coach" and "Zhora," seized the newest Russian tank T-80BVM, produced in 2023, in absolutely serviceable condition, with a full oil tank and full ammunition load, from the Russian airborne forces near Sudzha in the Kursk region.
The tank was in a tank ambush, but the ambush was detected in time by Ukrainian Defenders.
