As you probably know, there are currently not enough F-16 pilots to fly the aircraft provided to Ukraine by our Allies. Training of pilots and crew takes a long time.
During their visit to Kyiv this week, US Senators Richard Blumenthal and Lindsey Graham shared that Ukraine is looking for retired NATO F-16 pilots:
"Additionally, President Zelensky told us both that he would be looking to supplement his Air Force by establishing a program to enlist retired NATO F-16 fighter pilots. We support this effort. Ukraine is already fielding units of freedom fighters on the ground, and this volunteer force should be replicated in the air," Senator Blumenthal posted on his website.
"My message is this: we need to be fully engaged," Senator Graham added.
"Here’s what I want to see in 2024: I’m going to bring this up. I’m asking [U.S.] President [Joe] Biden, before you leave office, to make sure this offer is extended," he said.
F-16 pilots, including Dan Hampton, have said previously they would be willing to do that.
This would significantly increase Ukrainian capabilities and enhance our air defense potential.

Security Service of Ukraine forces captured 102 servicemen of the 488th motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces and the Akhmat unit on the Kursk direction.

Przemysław, a native of the Polish city of Gdynia, was a volunteer and activist.
He organized festivals and cultural events, and enjoyed mountain hiking in his spare time. He volunteered in Belarus, but left the country due to political persecution.
After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Przemysław decided to defend Ukraine by fighting in the International Legion in the east and south.
He died while performing a combat mission.

Equipped with video cameras, they scout the surroundings, detect booby traps, and track enemy movements. According to Fyodor, he was given first aid by the Ukrainian military. They shared water and cigarettes with the prisoners and brought medicine to the wounded from other dugouts.

Russian "Z-bloggers" write that Russian general Aleksandr Lapin, commander of the North group is responsible for Russian losses in Kursk region. Reportedly, his name is mentioned by captured soldiers of the Russian army and "Z-war correspondents".
Under Lapin's command, Russian troops hastily retreated in Kharkiv region in 2022. Ukraine then recaptured about 3,000 square kilometers of territory. The failure resembles the current one in terms of scale and course of events. Several Russian military experts connect that operation to the start of mobilization in Russiam
Lapin had previously been removed from commanding the troops of the Central Military District and the Russian troops grouping Center. This happened after his resignation was demanded by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the leader of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin. However, the Kremlin and the Russian Defense Ministry decided not to punish Lapin, but sent him to guard the border with a new unit.
