The 2021 Global Korea Scholarship Program aims at inviting 1,278 international students from 154 regions who wish to pursue a graduate-level degree (master's or doctoral) or research in Korea.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
1. AIRFARE: Round-trip economy class ticket
2. MONTHLY ALLOWANCE: 1,000,000 KRW per month (for masters and doctoral program) and 1,500,000 KRW for research fellow.
3. RESEARCH ALLOWANCE: 210,000 KRW for scholars in the field of humanities and social sciences and 240,000 KRW for scholars in natural and mechanic sciences
4. SETTLEMENT ALLOWANCE: 200,000 KRW upon arrival
5. LANGUAGE TRAINING FEE: Full coverage
6. TUITION: All admission fees are waived by the host institution (university. The tuition is covered by NIIED and the university.
