So I sometimes get this weird plink noise when my bed first presses down into the vat to start a print. I have no idea what it is but it has been troubling me. All my prints are coming out fine but it's def made the noise the last 2 prints and I'd like to be sure nothing is wrong. Drained the vat to check for fails didn't find anything

Something that when you tighten down the vat it clamps the nfep in tight and seals it ?? But then you have to completely empty the vat before unbolting. Hmmmm

I don't think it would be any more likely to leak than right now. Most vats are just sandwich design and a rim tensioned against it

build plate might be too low. The sound could be the motor skipping or grinding as it tries to press down to 0.

Not a station but I use a pitcher thing ( it might actually be a pasta container) from dollar tree full of alcohol and for smaller items I have one of those fancy pickle containers with the basket. They work better than my ultrasonic cleaner thing I had so I never bothered to replace that. I have a lets resin UV curing lamp thats simultaneously lit from top and bottom. No complaints yet.

I use a big airtight Tupperware container and a battery toothbrush to scrub parts...
Then a aluminum bucket and a UV lamp to cure

sorta random question, do people have a preferred wash/cure station they use? Looking to upgrade my containers of ipa and spot on the deck to something a bit more convenient but they all look basically the same and I cant tell which ones are gonna just fall apart

In my mind a lever would just replace the tigtening of the screws. It could still be sandwiched and tensioned against the rim.
