Historical Significance of Shām in light of the Qur’ān & Sunnah:

- The area of Shām is blessed - Sūrah Isrā' [17]: 1.

- The Prophet ﷺ supplicated for blessings in Shām - Sahīh Bukhārī

- At times of tribulations faith will be in Shām - Musnad Ahmad

- The Prophet ﷺ advised at the end of times to join the army of Shām first for it is the chosen land of Allāh - Sunan Abū Dawūd

- The assembly of the Muslims at the end wars is in Ghouta [near Damascus - Shām] - Sunan Abū Dawūd

- There is no goodness in us if Shām is corrupted - Sunan Tirmidhi

- The final battles [Malāhim] between truth and falsehood are prophesied to occur in Shām - Sahīh Muslim

- The Prophet Isa will descend near a white minaret in Damascus to restore justice and faith - Sahīh Muslim

Wake Up to the Injustice: Our Ummah Needs Us

While we slept peacefully, men, women, and children in Gaza were burned alive in camps, and killed by hydrogen bombs.

This is a call to action—to stand for justice and be the voice of the oppressed. We cannot stay silent.

Fear the standing and questioning in front of Allāh!

What can we do?

1. Make Dua’a: Pray urgently for protection, justice, and an end to oppression.

2. Give Charity: Give in the cause of Allāh, no matter how small.

3. Build Awareness: Use your platforms to spread the truth, not trivial content.

Act now! Don’t be passive as our Ummah is massacred.

The virtue of sending ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday begins from sunset on the night of Jumuʿah (Thursday night) and finishes at sunset on the night of Saturday (Friday night). Moreover, sending ṣalāh upon him during the day of Friday is better than during its night (Thursday night).

تفضيل الصلاة على النبي ﷺ في الجمعة يبدأ من غروب الشمس ليلة الجمعة وينتهي بغروبها ليلة السبت، والصلاة عليه ﷺ في نهار الجمعة أفضل من ليلها

For 12 years, we stood by your side, aiding and supporting you through unimaginable hardships. To witness you now, free and rejoicing in the streets, fills our hearts with joy.

Over the past few days, we’ve traveled through Syria, witnessing city after city fall and the people rise in victory. This triumph is from Allah alone. It came when many had given up hope. I always said, "Be patient just a little longer."

After the liberation of Aleppo (Haleb), Idlib faced a harrowing day. Over nine airstrikes struck Idlib city, with the majority of the casualties being innocent children.

In the aftermath of their humiliating defeat, they vented their aggression on women and children, attempting to break morale on the frontlines by targeting families in the rear. Yet, after nearly 14 years, this ruthless tactic has failed to deter those steadfast in their mission to reclaim their land.

The resistance began this journey with sacrifice and bloodshed, and they remain unwavering in their determination to see every square meter of Syria freed from oppression.

May Allah grant the Ummah steadfastness in these trying times, and may we never forget to include the Ummah in our dua.

Reflections on the Journey

The past few days have been overwhelming as we traveled across Syria, witnessing city after city liberated. For 12 years, we lived amongst some of the most resilient and beautiful people we’ve ever known.

This moment of victory is bittersweet. While the armed rebellion has ended, leaving Syria will break our hearts. Yet, our mission is not over. The next chapter begins now: helping rebuild this beloved country and continuing to serve its people.

An Uncertain Future
