Alhamdulillah, the debt for the sister has been settled.The debt of $500 has been paid in full.

They cannot express their happiness enough. It was a long and strenous road, but Alhamdulillah, in one night, their slate became clean. All I can say is Jazak'Allah Khair to the individual (and you know who you are). May Allah give you the highest ranks in Jannah. You have lightened a heavy burden that weighed heavily on a Muslim. Giving Charity on Behalf of the Deceased

Let us remember the deceased members of our families and friends and be a source of benefit for them in their graves, Inshā'Allāh.

‘A’ishah narrates that a man asked the Prophet ﷺ: "My mother died suddenly, and I think that if she could have spoken, she would have given charity. Will she have a reward if I give charity on her behalf?" He ﷺ replied, "Yes." Sahīh Bukhārī [no. 1388]

Projects for charity:

1. Build an Islamic school for children without access to Islamic education.
2. Support an orphanage for homeless Muslim families.
3. Sponsor an orphan.
4. Dig a well for Muslims without access to clean water.

Action Plan:

- Give charity on behalf of the deceased TODAY, intending that a share of the reward goes to them.
- A sign of love is remembering the deceased in our prayers and charity.

The virtue of sending ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday begins from sunset on the night of Jumuʿah (Thursday night) and finishes at sunset on the night of Saturday (Friday night). Moreover, sending ṣalāh upon him during the day of Friday is better than during its night (Thursday night).

تفضيل الصلاة على النبي ﷺ في الجمعة يبدأ من غروب الشمس ليلة الجمعة وينتهي بغروبها ليلة السبت، والصلاة عليه ﷺ في نهار الجمعة أفضل من ليلها



إنَّ اللهَ وملائكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ على النَّبي يا أَيُّها الذِّين آمَنوا صَلُّوا عَلَيهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيما ً

Don't forget to send Salutations on Prophet ﷺ

Anas bin Maalik (radhi Allaahu anhu) said:  Verily the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

Whoever sends Salah upon me once Allah will send ten upon him and remove ten of his sins and raise his rank by ten levels.

Spending in charity is an indication of the sincerity of one's faith, strength of certitude, and having good expectations from the Lord of the worlds. Besides, it has many other virtues which make the believer look forward to the reward of Allah, The Almighty, and overlook the whispers of the devil who frightens him with poverty, and beautifies for him stinginess and miserliness. Allah, The Almighty, Says (what means): 

{Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing} 

[Quran 2:268]

13 years of war and instibility

We strive to bring about change and hope for our brothers and sisters in Syria. Our work will continue until the need for humanitarian aid no longer exists.

A few of our programs include:

Food aid
Access to clean water
Food cartons
Warm food distribution
Hygiene items

These are a few of the programs we currently have, and in Sha Allah soon we will be opening new initiatives that can further uplift the Syrian people.

The Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم said:“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”

[ آل عمران: 133]

3:133 And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous.

Rush to do good actions, and draw near to Allah through doing as He instructs, so that you achieve the great forgiveness of Allah and enter a Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, which Allah has prepared for the Mindful.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever relieves a believer's distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates the situation of one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and the Hereafter. Whoever conceals (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will conceal (his faults) in this world and the Hereafter. Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother."

Burdened by Debt

:We are calling on our brothers and sisters in faith to help alleviate the debt of a few families in our community.

Debt brings great misery to families who find themselves unable to repay their creditors. Why are we reaching out? Because the Ummah is like one body—when one part aches, the whole body aches.

The total amount of debt we are seeking to relieve for these three families is $1,600, but whatever you can donate would be helpful. Even a small contribution can gradually reduce a large debt.

One of our sisters is burdened with a debt of $500. May Allah lift it from her soon, Insha'Allah.We urge any able Muslim to quickly take part in lifting this burden, as we are all in need of khair and Allah's enduring forgiveness.

Remember, every act of goodness will eventually make its way back to you. Race to contribute to this sadaqah before someone else beats you to it.

الأسباب المانعة من دخول النار عشرة:

‏• التوبة.
‏• والاستغفار.
‏• والحسنات الماحية.
‏• والمصائب المكفرة
‏• وشفاعة النبي ﷺ
‏• وشفاعة غيره.
‏• ودعاء المؤمنين.
‏• وما يُهدَى للميت من الثواب كالصدقة.
‏• وفتنة القبر.
‏• وأهوال القيامة.

The ten reasons preventing entry into Jahannam:

- Repentance. (Tawbah)
- Seeking forgiveness. (Istighfaar)
- Good deeds that erase sins.
- Trials and tribulations that expiate sins.
- The intercession of the Prophet ﷺ.
- The intercession of others.
- The Du’a of believers.
- The hasanaat sent to the deceased, such as charity.
- The punishment of the grave.
- The terrors of the Day of Judgment.

Aid Appeal: Do Not Let Them Down

The ummah is suffering in ways we have never witnessed before. History will record the times when Muslims faced great losses, but it will also speak of the victory that is to come.

Be a part of history and help your brothers and sisters who rely only on Allah. Do not let the ummah down. Be among those who support their Muslim brothers and sisters, not those who sit on the sidelines watching. If you can't do anything physically, at least make dua for them.

Surah Al-Imran, 3:92 "Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend—indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."

Food for thought

Don't banish away the beggar in a rude manner.

In my countless experiences here in Syria, I have noticed that many people beg for a profession so it is very difficult to distinguish who is really in need.

When children come up to me in groves begging for money I smile and pat them on their head. Their faces illuminate with a brightness unparalleled to anything I have seen, and this small gesture is more appreciated then giving money.

Many of the children on the streets are orphans and are left to fend for themselves in this cruel world.

Per the sunnah of our beloved Rasuallah صلي الله عليه وسلم smiling is sadaqah.

If you are to turn away the bigger turn them away in an appropriate manner.

You can donate and help us put smiles on the faces of the needy.
