The Jordanian martyr, Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, was the perpetrator of the operation at the Allenby Bridge crossing, where he used a small Jordanian-made pistol, resulting in the deaths of three Israeli soldiers with shots to the head. One of the victims was a conscripted rabbi named Yohanan Shuri.
All crossings between Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories have been closed.

In Al-Khalil, a Palestinian distributed water and sweets to celebrate the heroic shooting operation where a Jordanian truck driver killed three settlers at the Karama checkpoint on the Palestinian-Jordanian border. He says: "This is for the souls of our martyrs in brotherly Jordan! For our refuge camps in Tulkarem, Jenin, and Gaza. Dear Jordan says good morning!"
In Jordan, people are handing out sweets in the streets in celebration of the operation. On the paper is written: "the nightmare of the occupation," in reference to Abu Obeida's speech in November 2023 where he said: "We call on our brothers in Jordan, in particular, to escalate all forms of popular, mass, and resistance action. You, our people in Jordan, are the nightmare of the occupation that fears your movement and strives tirelessly to neutralize and isolate you from your cause."
