Q: Why am I getting lesser marks than 80 in listening and writing, while I'm able to get 80+ in speaking and reading in the recent days? Although, I'm sure that I wrote everything correctly in all listening and writing tasks.

A: I have been observing this trend since past 2 weeks now since the update of WFD was analysed. As I have been telling people that if you are writing more than 3 extra words, marks are going to be reduced from listening and writing skills. Majority of the times, when I take feedback from people, they are telling the same thing that they wrote more than 3 words in WFD. So, they are getting results like this.

Now, a lot of people also argue that where is the proof, or official notification, so for that - Pearson doesn't release official notifications for fixing the loopholes in its analysis system. People didn't question when they were using templates, and telling anything in speaking and still got 90s in all because even those were feedbacks received from some PTE trainers who analysed the loopholes patterns in the exam. Pearson at that time never said anything that you can use phrases and templates without content like - I have to speak 40 secs for this image and still you will get marks. This is also similar kind of finding but now when changes happen which are not favourable for people, they start asking questions and argue instead of understanding that Pearson strictly tells to WRITE AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE TO THE Audio. Now, during my monthly Teachers Training PTE developers meeting, I have been observing lots of people asking with PTE developers in the past few months, that they were asking whether writing extra words can impact WFD kind of things, which I believe made them understand that how people are using this loophole for getting better scores, and wanted to make exam tougher to make only real skilled people get 80+ now. Not for people who depend on loopholes anymore.

There will be people who always misguide others telling they wrote 10-12 extra words at each WFD and still got marks and they wrote recently, just to confuse you and waste your money, and approach them for guidance, so that they can earn from you. The sooner the people understand this and instead of arguing, if they rectify their mistakes, the better it will be for them to avoid wasting their money, efforts and time with reattempts.

Anyone have given Pearson mock test, as I am confused about my scores I used to get on average 70 in Apeuni but only got 58 in pearson mock and my score reduced mainly in listening and writing
