EXTRA WORDS:

1. Firstly, it's a conjecture that using extra words will reward you with good marks

Reality: even if you use 3 extra words which are irrelevant to the given question , you won't get marks for that

So using extra words won't give you any marks

Reality 2:
Using extra words will be beneficial only if you are not sure about the given word in the question

E.g
There have been so many changes in the  PTE exam and its scoring system since Nov...If this is the question

If you add the EXTRA WORDS
A/an/this/that/this
If you add extra
Only " the" is there
So you will be benefited

If you use  the Extra words "exams/change/scores"..... no use

Don't think much about it.
Instead
Focus on Spellings , Content, Listening to the question carefully will help you
