I can give you some informational update though. Our server have hardware issues. It will take some time for the hoster to replace parts, and then for our staff to make everything back and running. The database is on different server and is not affected, but the site itself will be restored from backup, so in worst case some .torrent files, NFO renders, and avatar changes made in last few hours (after backups but before it got down) might be lost.
it's a HW issue. It's going to take 3-4 days to get everything back up again (at the minimum)

据管理组所知，两位成员目前并无危险，预计将于不远的未来回归
候选区目前由非活跃成员临时接手。过期的种子已由临时接手的成员审核并处理（该通过的，由SysOp配合修改数据库为通过）
另，福音组成员的种子直接发布分片限制修改为 16 MiB * 20000 分片 = 320 GiB（原为10000分片），该限制以下的种子不会被自动转至候选区。

Both of our active offer mods got hospitalized recently and our active offer manpower reaches zero. As a result some torrents were expired in offer section.
As far as we know, they are not in danger and will recover in recent future.
Non-active mods were now in charge of offer section temporarily. Expired uploads were processed (SysOp changes the database record to pass if it shall be passed).
And, Uploader class's direct upload torrent file piece limit were raised to 20000 pieces (from 10000), allowing a 320 GiB upload without being auto transfered into offer section.

Break out your drumsticks, it's our 7th Birthday! During the year, we passed over 1.5 million unique releases on Redacted. This wouldn't be possible without you, our amazing users. As such we'd like to do something special to round out this year. To kick off our Birthday Celebration, torrents with 3 or fewer seeds have been marked freeload. After meticulous analysis and careful consideration, Staff has also selected an additional set of torrents we know you're going to love. All these torrents will be freeload through the end of the year (Ending January 6th 23:59 UTC). As a reminder, all freeload torrents can be found here, and users who were seeding such torrents within the last week will still receive credit for their upload during the event.
Freeload Tweaks
Earlier this month, in preparation for this event, we deployed a tracker change to prioritize freeload seeders. Now, when you start downloading a freeload torrent, we serve a modified peerlist that only includes the seeders who were present before this announcement. This custom peerlist is only served in response to your client's initial announce. Once you have snatched the torrent or 10 minutes have elapsed, your client will receive the full peerlist. If the freeloaded seeders aren't connectable and time is of the essence, force re-announcing the torrent will cause the tracker to immediately serve you the complete peerlist. No changes to your client are required to enable this functionality; it is managed entirely by the tracker.

By popular demand, Blutopia now supports TOTP based two factor authentication. TOTP is a well secured implementation of two factor authentication, and with this development, the old email based two factor method is no longer available as an option. If you were using email based two factor, please enable TOTP ASAP.

Password managers such as Bitwarden and 1Password have TOTP authentication built-in, allowing easy copy-paste/autofill of authentication codes.
Others may prefer to use an application such as Authy.

Very short summary of what happened, more details may follow later: A number of issues combined caused some critical components of our infrastructure to go down. Due to limited availability on the part of our tech team, we were unable to properly address the underlying causes immediately.

Torrent Cleaning Winter Cleaning
To continue the legacy that MusicalMind has left behind with regards to the planned clean-up of old clients, I have adjusted some of the torrent clients and done some winter cleaning. And to be clear, let me get it out of the way: No, we're not removing uTorrent 2.2.1 from the whitelist any time soon.
There may be some noticable hiccups while the whitelist updates for the tracker, but these should be gone within a few hours. If you're getting a notice about your client not being on the whitelist: wait for the tracker to catch up.
How Will This Affect Me?
This will only affect you if you fall into one of the following categories:
1. If you're using a weird alpha/beta/nightly build of qBittorrent from and older version and never updated.
2. If you're using an "Enhanced" build of qBittorrent that does strange behaviors in the swarm (which should never have been allowed to begin with).
3. If you're using a very old client which was removed from the whitelist today. There are only a handful of these, and the combined amount of peers for these clients is ~5,000 or so. For comparison, our rtorrent (a popular seedbox client that has over 1,200,000 active peers currently. This is unlikely to affect the swarms in any noticeable way.)
qBittorrent
There has been some minor reconfiguring of our whitelist for qBittorrent to address some issues with how the old whitelist versions were working (this is to target beta versions and "Enhanced" forks that had previously slipped through the cracks due to how Peer IDs were added to the whitelist). I have also whitelisted 4.6.1. From now on, I will be whitelisting each minor update manually, and the broad whitelisting of the past is not going to be happening going forward. You can usually expect a few day turnaround for me to test and add new versions of the software to the whitelist, provided there are no edge cases/issues to consider.

15 Years/300k Unique Titles
Holy cow, it's been 15 years and now 300,000 unique titles. If you have told most of us when the site started that we'd still be kicking 15 years later, I don't think any of us would have believed you. We originally opened as a fledgling startup called SceneMovies and shortly after changed our name to what we are today. It is never lost on any of us ever how far we've come, and what we've built in the time our site has existed. The best part is that this is only the beginning and we hope to be around another 15 years. We are the biggest independent film archive in the world today due to the blood, sweat and tears of every single staff member, every uploader who has ripped a disc from their local library, and every community member who has posted on the forums. It is never, ever lost on us for what we've built as a community in this time. We also have some very exciting stuff in the coming pipeline, with two new developers ready to be onboarded (both of whom are ready to code a lot of new features), a full wiki rewrite coming, and some type of analog media preservation effort (details and specifics to be announced later! As a little bonus, our 300,000th title taking into account deletions is none other than Cocaine Shark, which has now been given a permanent freeleech.
