New anonymization options and adding remuxes to the lottery - 2023-09-22
We added new option to hide your torrenting stats in your user detail. This option is named Hide torrenting stats in Profile and you can find it in Profile - Security.
We also made lot of changes in encodes lottery to make it anonymous and simpler to use for encoders, and also to finally settle all the remuxers quarrels.
You read correctly, lottery can now be used for 1080p and 2160p remuxes.

Rules and guidelines for internal encodes and remuxes lottery were also added to the Rules, now when everyone can use it (for remuxes).
- Encode/remux button can't be taken on the source if there exists open lottery for the movie or the user isn't a winner for given resolution.
- Lottery results are respected only for the first source, better ones in the future are free for all (or a new lottery can be made).
- Internal encoders/remuxers can cast votes for one or more resolutions, they will be notified via PM after the lottery is drawn.
- Only internal encoders and remuxers who voted can draw lottery and only after the relevant source was uploaded.
- Everyone can add a lottery, it can be edited only by the creator until it was drawn. Don't add it if you don't intend to vote in it.
- Lottery is marked as finished when all resolutions are drawn. Resolutions without votes are closed automatically.
- User can delete his vote and winner can reset his win.
- Lottery respects user's anonymity setting.

When the reasons would be personal issues or time constraints, the old guard should find a new management and pass the torch on. We got it 7 years ago and we hope to do the same once we get tired of it ourselves instead of shutting the site down.
Some new rumours are not very positive regarding PTP. Apparently the sysop is unresponsive and he's the only one with access to money. PTP is his project and now he called it the End. Not sure it's not FUD, we'll see what they officially announce. Sad in any way. Things should never stand on one leg and in my opinion trackers do not belong to anyone but the community as they would be nothing without it.

HDB 修改独占规则
Based on recent discussions we decided to change exclusivity of uploads from current opt-out to opt-in form. This means that instead of everything (that's not clearly scene) being considered as exclusive to HDBits and the subsequent need to ask the uploader for permission before uploading elsewhere, most uploads will be considered as non-exclusive except for those that their uploader specifically set as Exclusive to HDBits.
This change will be rolled out in two phases:
1) Uploaders can set/change their preferred personal exclusivity state in your Profile - Security - My uploads are Exclusive to HDBits to Yes/No (default is No).
2) Then we'll later set existing torrents of uploaders as exclusive only for those users that change this option to Yes. Most uploaders will not choose to have exclusive uploads so most torrents will not be exclusive. The setting will then serve as a default option for uploader's new torrents in the Upload form where it can also be changed as he sees fit (and then in the torrent's edit form too). Torrent's exclusivity state will be clearly indicated in the torrent's details, it will be added to API etc.
Phase 1 started just now, the mentioned profile setting is available in Profile - Security, so if you want your past torrents set as Exclusive in bulk when we go live with the torrent upload part, make sure to change it soon.
Phase 2 will be made live in 1-2 weeks along with few other uploading rules changes.
We hope this will make life easier for some users as much (and more than in the past) of content comes from other places in the first place.
Notes:
- This means that there will generally be no asking for permission for uploading content from here to other good private tracker. Public/paid trackers or sites will always be forbidden from obvious reasons. Leaking Exclusive torrents will guarantee high chance of ban if you get reported, it will be viewed with lesser leniency than now when we usually start with a warning and give a second chance, as it will be clearly indicated in torrent's details with big bold red text.
- If uploader misses the initial setting period, we can still do it in bulk later based on request via Staff PM.

对于中国用户，需要至少在 RED 2年时间才可以申请，此外还需要满足以下条件之一：
1. 附带其他两个 PT 站的个人链接并在PM中说明情况。
2. 如果没有其他两个PT站，则必须使用和RED一样的用户名注册HDB。
在PT站作弊真的没法被抓到吗？
先说结论，作弊非常简单，但抓起来也同样非常简单。只要怀疑，99%可以抓到。珍惜自己的账号，不要去尝试作弊。
为什么？
首先，我们得从协议说起，众所周知，PT 是建立在 BitTorrent（BT）协议基础上的，而BT 协议在设计之初就没有考虑到作弊这一情况，服务器会无条件信任来自 BT 客户端的数据，所以这个协议有着天然的漏洞让作弊者有机可乘。
那么？作弊是什么？为什么可以作弊？
作弊是向服务器汇报虚假的数据，伪造自己的上传等行为。如前文所讲，因为BT 协议的漏洞，即使作弊者随意汇报自身的上传量，服务器也无法去验证客户端所汇报数据的真实性，从而使得作弊成为可能。
那为什么作弊还是可以被抓到？
协议有漏洞并不代表着无法发现哪些用户利用了漏洞。
比如流量作弊，可以使用核验单个种子总体的上传和下载来确定是否有人作弊。
具体来说，PT网络是一个对等网络，如果所有人的上传加起来大于所有人的下载，那么显而易见，有人在作弊。更近一步，我们发现异常种子后，就可以开始分析具体种子的数据，将所有人的汇报分块，如果在一个期间（比如最后半小时、开始一小时）所汇报的总上传下载无法匹配，那么在这个时间段内的人在作弊。
再或者，也可以根据某些作弊软件的特征来分析作弊，比如特定的 UserAgent 伪装，BT 软件PeerID的数学规律，ut2.x客户端无法载入1T+的种子文件等等等等。
而这些只是已经被公开而且是最基础的防作弊方法，还有很多不为人知的防作弊方法，站点时时刻刻在跑着这些脚本，只要你汇报了数据，就一定会被站点记录，而被记录假数据后之后等来的一定是ban。

Welcome Home
On behalf of the entire staff team, we'd like to welcome you back to PTP. The last few months have been long and tumultuous to say the least, but now we can finally put the downtime behind us and get back to doing what we do best.
We realize how difficult these past few months have been for all of you, because trust us: it’s been hard on us too. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated in our time of need. It is not lost on any of us how wonderful our community is and how overwhelmingly positive the community has been during the process. We will be arranging a donation validation system once things settle down, so that those of you who donated can claim your perks (to be announced at a later date).
How We Got Here
Due to personal circumstances, our long-term producer paperk had to step away, meaning some of our site infrastructure suddenly went down. This caused our site, IRC, and tracker to go offline.
paperk had already been overseeing a transition of his role to experienced individuals, with the goal of having him step aside completely. His departure came a few months earlier than planned, meaning we couldn't fully complete the transition in time.
As a result, we had to run a donation drive. We quickly met our goal, at which point we were able to bring back IRC, and later the tracker and finally the site itself.
Changes
As a result of the unexpected downtime, we opted to use this opportunity to address some very much needed server upgrades in order to provide a more stable experience going forward.
We've also had some changes in leadership: @alamak will be taking over the Producer chair, with @mewt3x offering significant support to help with day-to-day tasks via the Senior Developer chair.
Both Mew and Ala have spent many long hours working on rebuilding our server infrastructure, so if you see them around please offer them a thank you for their tireless work. Without both of them, we wouldn’t be here today. Also a huge thank you for our IRC services go to DarkSky, for setting up IRC and wrangling together a temporary system to verify users, allowing our community to come back together.
In addition to the above, there will be some more work done behind the scenes to refine some of our internal processes with regards to security, development and redundancy. We will also be addressing some of the lingering issues such as the tracker SSL certificate issues and will shortly be bringing on a new developer to help introduce new site features.

There have been a lot of ups and downs during the past few months, but there are a few people who we’d like to offer our warmest thanks to, for their extraordinary help in our time of need

三、禁止使用自动化脚本/程序进行非手动签到

2. 经过一段时间的检测截至现在，签到系统共有527名用户使用自动化脚本/程序进行非手动签到

PT站被投毒警告
PTfxq 注意到了 Plex-Family（ https://plexfm.top ）疑似遭到投毒攻击，用户在访问其页面时会下载一个压缩包 NewBrowsers.rar。
经过对其中程序的初步分析，其是一个针对 Windows 平台的盗号、挖矿病毒。病毒会盗取 Steam、Telegram 等账号，还会读取浏览器 Cookies 并扫描本地磁盘。
如果你已不幸运行了类似来历不明的软件，请第一时间断开电脑的网络连接并寻求专业杀毒软件的帮助。
最后，防患未然，请不要轻易打开未知来源的文件，同时，请关闭与 Plex-Family 有关的自动化脚本，并检查下载目录有无可疑文件。

关于PT如何自动化抓作弊
方法
tracker返回peers时将信息分组，比如五人一组，A组只给B组的信息，C组只给D组的信息，两两相对，当某一组出现数据异常，将组内成员按速度依次存储作弊权重，速度最快者权重为5，依次直到最慢者权重为1。权重累计达到X时，杀掉
如果只作弊了一个种子，达不到累计权重怎么办？
一个种子，如果流量过大，肉眼就能看出来，杀掉，如果流量过小，那作弊是为了什么？
影响出种怎么办？
首次汇报之后要求快速汇报（如3分钟），即只影响三分钟出种
是否会误判组内其他账户？
不会，其他人不会那么倒霉每次都跟作弊者一组
警惕 Telegram 钓鱼盗号
TLDR
最近多名PT站的工作人员已确认被盗号，且账号无法找回。PTfxq推荐各位在 设置 -> 设备 中检查设备，如遇不知名设备请立即登出它，同时推荐开启2FA即可抵御这种钓鱼攻击。
原理
如果你的手机号曾经在注册TG后并没有第一时间没有关闭手机号的查看权限的话，骗子就可以通过社工的方式找到TG号与手机号的对应关系。此后，骗子会输入你的手机号并私聊你让你截图特定的搜索结果（如 not give，give not，please do not等），而在搜索结果中大概率会搜索出TG的登陆验证码。即使是几天前的TG的验证码也可以使骗子成功登陆，因为TG并没有验证码的超时失效机制，验证码只会在以文字方式发送或被使用以后才会失效。 此后，骗子成功登陆你的帐号后会更改你的手机号码，这也意味着你的帐号永远无法找回。
抵御
打开2FA并打开邮箱验证；
如有好友需要你截图搜索结果或其他可疑操作，请通过多维验证来确认好友的身份；
如果条件允许，不管有没有收到钓鱼攻击，立刻更换TG手机号并关闭手机号查看权限。
