It's funny, I actually built a plug-in for Hermes that adds Telegram as a provider through the user API instead of the bot API, so that it can essentially do exactly what that other bot has been doing

Tbh fully protecting client-side code is basically a lost cause. Minify + obfuscate makes it annoying but determined folks still dig it out. Keep the real logic backend if you can.
