Gold Hits Historic High
The price of gold reached an all-time high on Friday, soaring above $2,400 per ounce as a global safe-haven rush continues.
The rally has been attributed to rising tensions in the Middle East that have spurred safe-haven demand.
Spot gold prices rose 2.4% to a record high of $2,431.52 per ounce before pairing some gains.
Some experts indicated that continued strong buying from China has also spiked prices.

Danielle Johnson, a 34-year-old astrology influencer who went by the name Danielle Ayoka online, pushed her two children from a moving car and killed her 8-month-old in the process. She also crashed her Porsche SUV at 100 mph into a tree, killing herself.

Police are reportedly not calling the eclipse a contributing factor to the deaths because "we just don’t know why she did what she did."
