Palestinians performed funeral prayers upon the civilians slaughtered in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, at dawn today.
In the latest toll, 25 Palestinians, including children and women, were massacred in the Israeli attack that targeted a residential building.
Trump on Wednesday announced China would be hit with a 34% tariff, on top of the 20% he previously imposed earlier this year, bringing the total new levies to 54% and close to the 60% figure he had threatened while on the campaign trail.
China responds with the imposition of 34% of tarrifd on the USA as a first measure. Also, Trump imposed 20% tarrifs on the European Union and the latter reponds with the same rate.
"As the United states are applying tarrifs woth $28 billion, we are responding with countermeasures worth €26 billion. This matches the economic scope of yhe tarrifs of the United States," said Ursula Von der Leyen, the European Commission President.

Reuters reports that the Trump administration finalized the sale of more than 20,000 U.S.-made assault rifles to Israel, despite concerns they could end up in the hands of Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.
The shipment was previously stalled by the Biden administration due to concerns over its use by settlers.
