Months following the outbreak of polio disease, Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza reported the first 35 confirmed cases of meningitis among children. Doctors at Nasser hospital expressed their grave concerns, particularly around the spread of the disease among displaced children living in overcrowded tents.
The spokesperson of Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir Al-Balah said 400 cases of meningitis were recorded since 2025. The disease poses serious risks to mental and sensory functions, and its spread has been exacerbated by severe malnutrition, which has significantly weakened children’s immune systems while the hospitals operate under a severe lack of essential supplies.
A protest took place in Argentina in support of Palestine and denouncing the attacks that Israel carried out in Iran while demanding an end to the Israeli genocide on Gaza.

During a recent interview on Fox News following President Trump’s announcement of overnight strikes on Iran’s top nuclear sites, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio asserted that the attack should not be considered a war on Iran, stating, "That was an Iranian choice; we didn’t make that choice, they did."
He also warned that any Iranian retaliation would be "the worst mistake they've ever made."
