In the first 24 hours following the shift in global attention to Iran, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that 26 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces while waiting for humanitarian aid at US-backed distribution sites, with more than 117 injuries treated in hospitals.
The ministry added that this brings the total number of civilians killed while seeking aid to 300, with over 2,649 injured.

Israeli journalist Yaakov Katz calls sanctions of Israeli ultranationalist far-right ministers Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich by the UK along with other countries a “shameful decision that shows a misunderstanding of what's happening on the ground [in Gaza]”.

Israeli military forces intercepted the humanitarian ship Madleen, operated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), and arrested the peaceful activists aboard, including Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan earlier today.
Hassan posted: “When they come to arrest us, I will look at them the way Larbi Ben M'Hidi looked at the colonizers of his land: calm, confident in the liberation of Palestine.”
The activists aboard Madleen were attempting to breach Israel’s long-standing naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, which blocks the entry of humanitarian aid and continues to weaponize starvation against innocent civilians.
In an interview with Gideon Levy, Haaretz columnist and author, Sky news anchor attempts to justify Israeli forces crimes on the Madaleen by stating claims around Greta Thunberg being anti-semitic and other activists being Hamas sympathizers.
