⭕️Through intermediaries, we have received some proposals from the U.S. side aimed at reaching a ceasefire. On this occasion, Hamas welcomes any initiative that contributes to efforts to halt the aggression against our people.
⭕️The movement confirms that it is ready to immediately sit at the negotiating table to discuss the release of all captives in exchange for a clear declaration ending the war, full withdrawal from Gaza, and the formation of a committee to govern the Gaza Strip with independent Palestinians assuming their duties immediately.
⭕️This must come with a guarantee that the enemy will adhere publicly and explicitly to the agreement to prevent previous experiences of agreements being rejected or overturned, most recently, the proposal presented by intermediaries to Hamas, based on a U.S. suggestion, which Hamas approved in Cairo on 18/8/2025, but the occupation has not responded to it and has continued its massacres and ethnic cleansing.
